A Swiss short film, in French, La moto de ma mère, speaks of the estrangement between a seemingly abusive father and his teenage daughter and son after his wife's death in an accident. The secret of how the accident happened has torn the family apart, with the children believing that their father killed their mother.

This short is marked by an exceptional performance by Fabio Fernandes, who plays the young son, Dimitri.

A visually ravishing, soulful road movie set in the Swiss Alps.

Pictures shot at the magic hour, that neutralizes colors, and human relation on a knife edge are the ingredients which make the last short film by Séverine Cornamusaz a strong, sober and sensitive film. The road movie "My Mother's Motorbike" is a disconcerting and raspy mixture of self-contained violence, remorse, tenderness and love also which moves deeply the spectator.
