Doesn't quite make the original, but doesn't fall very short either.

Warning: Spoilers
When i first played the original title in the series, die hard arcade, it was one of the best games i had ever seen. now ill admit i was like 10 and it was 95, but damn it was good and i still retain great memories at the arcade with it. This is the sequel (kind of). It has nothing to do with the original story wise, but some of the levels and the entire fighting style is completely recognizeable. Unlike the original, when you start off, you can choose from three characters. after that, again unlike the original, you can then choose from three different starting points for your mission. now some people might say that they are 3 different missions but they arnt, they all have at least a few of the same levels and most of the rest are just dressed up differently. you can easily beat this mission in less than ten minutes, all three of the starting points in less than 20. Now I haven't played this on the arcade, but on the dreamcast after you've beaten these with a high enough score you get extra games like survival and a mini old times game just like die hard arcade had. you can also collect original story board art through out the game that droms from opponents and objects when u hit them. This is a good game, entertaining, has playback value. but if you're looking for a great story, or a long one, this is not the game for you (the story involves modern day pirates, and its not even trying to be serious about it). if you happen to have a saturn, don't get this game, get the original- die hard arcade.
