Nickelodeon's latest move to keep the loyal attention of its multitasking audience is TurboNick, a broadband entertainment platform on Nick.com that will offer full-length series and other content online. It already offers fans the world premiere of Catscratch, a new series from Earthworm Jim creator Doug TenNapel, as part of a sneak peak before the service's official launch July 17. Two additional broadband announcements were made Wednesday: a complete upgrade of Nick Jr. Video and the launch of Nick Jr. Parents TV. Parent company Viacom also announced the launch of VH1's broadband entertainment network VSpot. That follows the lead of MTV Overdrive, a Web channel through MTV.com that went live in April.
