Trash stays trash
Horst_In_Translation16 September 2017
Warning: Spoilers
"Schaffe schaffe Scheiße baue" (Swabian approach to comedy is non-existent despite the title) is a German 1.5-hour film from 2001, so this one had its 15th anniversary last year already. It was made by the pretty prolific Eicher and Mayer and it is among the most known of their career. This film can genuinely be described as trash and it never aimed for anything more than that, which saves the film on some occasions and which is also the reason why I am a bit generous with my rating here. It never takes itself seriously and this results in some situations where I had to laugh, or at least smile a bit. The movie is incredibly over-the-top and unrealistic from start to finish, but it fits to the tone of it all. It's more of a collection of short films that are sometimes connected to each other and sometimes completely independent. Intertitles tell you when another sequence begins. The comedy is very sexual and also includes violence, so it is certainly not for everybody. We see of course a homeless guy on one occasion who gets beat up by a duo of police officers for having a boner. But after spitting a bit of blood, the bum is fine as if nothing happened at all, so the film is not about depicting suffering, just about depicting violence. The title sums up the obscenity part pretty well I guess. Oh yeah this film is part of a series of films, the middle part apparently and also among the most known from them all, and the maybe most known character in there is Kermet. It may have low production values, but for a trash film, it is somewhat decent still. Still trash stays trash and as a consequence this one gets a thumbs-down of course. Plot is almost non-existent, there is no creative story-telling or character writing at all and also the dubious business activities by the production company in charge of this one (Los Banditos Films) make it impossible for me to give a positive recommendation here. Watch something else instead.

ridiculous crap

Yes, this insignificant little movie fails on every level and is a complete waste of time. I had little expectations on it, and remarkable the movie was worse than my expectations. The cast is a pure joke, direction and camera guidance reminds strongly of a home video project of kids. Stay away from this movie unless you want a cheap little laugh at how bad it is. The movie can pretty much be summed up with a paradox: its so bad that its good. I feel sorry for the guys who had put money into this. I swear I will never watch this movie again, and except for comedic value or to spite those I do not like, tell another soul to do the same. A must see for all primates and boneheads.

The sequel to James Joyce 'Ulysses'
NilsPeters24 October 2004
In this incredible movie, you can see the diversity of life taking place at some place. The most interesting thing in this movie is that there were no real actors involved in making it. All you can see is computer-generated. Bill Gates himself founded a new supercomputing center to calculate the tremendously intense graphics calculations.

When I first saw it, I could not believe my own eyes. It couldn't be possible ! How could they have made it that real. It even looks like a real B-movie that doesn't make sense. Perfection accomplished !

Despite all these facts you cannot entirely understand this movie if you don't see the connections to the movies of Jean-Luc Godard.

Watch this movie. I cannot emphasize this enough !

superb trash, respect!

Those who watched the excellent Part One and found it pretty entertaining had some high expectations towards Part Two, this one. Also me, and as I saw it I made myself wet into the trouser, heehaw! Wonderful people making an excellent sequel I thought while seeing this film!

As in Part One, this movie is full of trashy nonsenses, drug use/abuse, violence and strange and offending characters - just watch "Cannstadter-Karle", what a man! What a beard! There is something like a plot, but it doesn't have to be mentioned, that's not the deal with this film. As I said it's the weirdness of all those creepy people, their horrifying dialogs using explicit language what makes this film an excellent entertaining thing! Also some martial arts-action is in it, so be prepared! To be mentioned is that this movie was presented in a German lifestyle-TV-show (polylux) as a high state of art! So not only the brain-damaged people amongst us find this film a wonderful piece of celluloid, also the entertaining "upper class"! Whatever this will mean..

I give this film an eight, because Part One couldn't be topped by this (and also not by Part Three which is also a fine piece of trash), but it's way better than for example films like "White Chicks" or "So High", which have some similar contents (drugs and offending language). Check it out folks!
