During filming, the actor that plays the lead villain, Bruce Cooper (Jason Wyking), came up to the director and said that he had forgotten to wear underwear that day. Since the next shot involved Bruce's pants to be around his ankles, and the director wasn't interested turning his harmless western into a porn flick, the director did the same thing any desperate filmmaker without a wardrobe department would do. He stripped down and handed over his own pair of boxer shorts for use in the shot.
While filming the "town in chaos" shot, the Cooper Brothers were instructed to torment the townspeople, and the townspeople were told to act accordingly. They ran around and flailed their arms in the air and looked pretty distressed. After the take, the actor playing the Indian said he accidentally turned his back to the camera revealing the blue Speedo he wore underneath the loin cloth/car washing chamois. Another take was rolled off to cover for this error, but during the shot, the DP started to chuckle at what he was viewing through the lens. It turned out that Brett, the man playing the Indian, decided to do away with the Speedo entirely, allowing him to expose his backside to the camera. The director kept the shot, claiming that it added to the "authenticity" of the film.
