Wish I'd seen this sooner!!

"Build Your Own Haunted House", by Kelly Mann is a Halloween treat from beginning to end. The show's host The Count, played by Brian Peck, masterfully balances humor with instruction. I particularly enjoyed the how-to segments which not only describe how to make great props like a wrought iron fence, and tombstones, but shows you step-by-step as they're being made. Kelly has written and directed this entertaining video in a clear and concise way that actually makes me want to build a haunted house! As the Director of Akita Advocates Relocation Team Arizona, an Akita rescue group, I wish I had seen this video a couple months earlier. We would have built a Haunted House as a fund raiser this past Halloween. We are however, planning one for this coming Halloween season, and the video "Build Your Own Haunted House" will certainly be our guide.

If you want to know how to build your own haunted house, this is just the instructional video for you! Kelly Mann has done an excellent job providing easy-to-do (and inexpensive too!) tricks of his trade. The makeup secrets are easy to learn, and everything he uses can be purchased locally. The Show's Dracula-type host is fun, and the sets are well-executed. The decoration ideas are fun too. Building your own haunted house will make a wonderful family or classroom project. Kelly has a background in film and television prop making, so you are learning from a pro. He's haunted a good many houses in his day, and I suggest you buy his video and take his suggestions, the next time you want to say boo!
