When. following the car bomb attack, there is no evidence in the courtyard that anything took place there. No broken car body parts, no charred ground, no investigation teams examining the site. Jeanne's clothing has not changed from before the attack, so this indicates that the final scene between Jeanne and Werner took place on the night following the attack. But the courtyard shows no sign that anything had occurred there.
The Peugeot truck has shiny side mirrors. There were no side mirrors on this model at that time.
The death date on the tombstone does NOT say 1952. It may look that way due to the angle of the shot but if you watch the film in slow motion you can see that it does in fact say 1932.
At 3:18 the tombstone's second line give the dates 1891-1952 while the movie story is set during the occupation of France in 1941. The stone has been rectified in the second shot at 3:27 to 1891-1932...
