Lloyd Kaufman, co-writer of such greats as Toxic Avenger, Class of Nuke'em High and Tromeo and Juliet, shares his experiences and tribulations on the set of "The Final Countdown" as both associate producer and actor. It's nice to hear someone in a documentary not sugarcoat the experience, as Lloyd has a few barbs to throw at pretty much everyone besides Kirk Douglas his son Paul, and maybe the two or three sentences he says of Martin Sheen. I found it refreshing. Snd of course what would a Kaufman interview be without him hawking Troma (which granted he keeps to a minimum this time out) This fourteen minute documentary can be found on Disk two of Blue Underground's 'Limited Editon' DVD of "The Final Countdown"
