The plan was to have a major release for the Hindi dubbed version of the film. One of the reasons was the music was by A R Rahman who was a craze in Bollywood after Rangeela. The movie distributors finally decided not to due to the original version being a box office flop. The dubbed version was released with very little fan fare
Anu Malik sampled A.R. Rahman's beats from Super Police, (Khel Khiladi Ka) from the song "Khel Hain Yeh Khiladi Ka" for his song Yeh Pyar Yaar Kya Hain.. The same beat appears at 0:35 of the song "Subah Subah" from Yash. The music of "Koi Jaye To Le Aaye" from Ghatak at 0:50, was sampled from the song "Khel Khiladi Ka " at 0:09, from the movie Khel Khiladi Ka. The original source was from Dr. Alban song "Om We Remwe Ike". A R Rahman reused the same back ground beat/ music for the song "Jaan Meri " from Thakshak.
A R Rahman song "Babu Lo Chal Gaya" from the dubbed film Khel Khiladi Ka , has the same music as the song "Yaaro Sun Lo Zara" from Rangeela.
The dubbed Hindi version did not get a theatrical release in British Columbia, Canada.
The soundtrack for the Hindi dubbed version of Super Police was released under the T-Series label in 1996. This film album, along with the soundtrack for the film Sanam Harjai , were the only Hindi film albums released under T-Series between the years 1992 and 1996 to not have featured any songs sung by Anuradha Paudwal, Vipin Sachdeva, or Babul Supriyo, who were otherwise the default playback singers for any film album released under T-Series back then.
