Hulk Hogan’s daughter, Brooke Hogan, showed off a stunning monokini as she let fans know about something she doesn’t particularly enjoy, and ironically it’s all the work that goes into making photoshoots happen.
With that, she posed in a sizzling black one-piece and black high heels strapped onto her feet, as she posed with her head arched back and one leg bent to place a foot on a chair.
The former TV star and wrestling personality kept one hand on her hip and the other holding her blonde locks as she leaned her head back for a provocative pose.
Along with the gorgeous photo, taken in a bare-bones room with white walls, she gave fans all the reasons she doesn’t like participating in photoshoots.

When the original Star Trek cast made Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, they knew it was the end. At that point, in 1991, DeForest Kelley and James Doohan were already in their 70s, while William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy had just turned 60, so the movie was written as a swan song for most of the cast members. When the film was released, Shatner told us that making The Undiscovered Country was definitely a bittersweet affair — he was thrilled that they got to work together one more time, but sad knowing it would be the last time. Exclusive: Imagine being the son of NBA great Dwyane Wade – one of the game’s all-time greats – and wanting to play basketball too.
That’s the reality for Zaire Wade, Dwyane’s eldest son, who was drafted last October by the Salt Lake City Stars of the NBA G League. Zaire, who turns 20 on Friday, has got some skills like his father, who just turned 40.
“Now, when I ask him to play [1-on-1],” Zaire said in a recent interview, “he doesn’t want to play me no more. He says he’s too old.”
Joking aside, those are some big shoes to fill. The six-part documentary series Legacy: In the Shadow of Greatness, launching on the Discovery+ streaming platform on March 8, explores what it’s like to be the offspring of a famous athlete and, like your dad, wanting to excel in sport.

Jonathan Perel's Corporate Accountability is showing exclusively on Mubi starting October 13, 2021 in the series Undiscovered. This introduction is sourced from a conversation between Perel and Michael Pattison first published by Alchemy Film & Arts in April 2020.Corporate Accountability is a film based on a book that was published by the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights. It describes how 25 companies helped the dictatorship in the repression and disappearance of its own workers. Being the state of Argentina the one publishing the book is very important, because it’s not that the film is making a selection or investigating these companies, but the government itself.Although the book is available online, very few printed copies exist, and it’s not really well-known. With the film I want to make the book visible, and to create an image for it. An image that will connect the past with the present. To show these same companies today,...

When you think of the most enduring songs of the 20th century, which ones come to mind? How about Bob Dylan’s “Tangled Up in Blue”? Irving Berlin’s “Blue Skies”? The Kinks’ “Waterloo Sunset”? Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive”?
Acid-folk guru Peter Stampfel concurs with all those choices, and as his new album demonstrates, he would also add the Spice Girls’ “Wannabe.”
For his latest project, Peter Stampfel’s 20th Century in 100 Songs, Stampfel decided to pay tribute to the past century by covering one song from each year.

Close-Up is a feature that spotlights films now playing on Mubi. Valentina Pedicini's Faith is exclusively showing on Mubi starting December 2, 2020 in the Undiscovered series.A pulsing techno beat. Strobing lights. A voice, demanding movement. And bodies, bodies, bodies. Sweaty, exhausted, ecstatic. Valentina Pedicini’s Faith opens with what could be a club sequence, driven by rhythm and entranced with the physicality of its subjects. As the viewer has been made aware by a brief introduction, the voice commanding the room is that of a kung fu master, and the room is a gym in a monastery, inhabited by a religious community called Warriors of Light. Pedicini’s stylistic choice to introduce them in such a surprisingly earthly way is undeniably bold, but she’s not interested in mere shock value. Rather, her approach is a testament to the idiosyncrasies of the group as a documentary subject, and to...

For the animated musical “Trolls World Tour,” DreamWorks producer Gina Shay racked up her share of frequent flyer miles over four years — traveling to New York City for reggaeton superstar J Balvin, South Korea for K-Pop girl group Red Velvet and Stockholm for star and music curator Justin Timberlake. “It felt like I was going around the world collecting people’s voices,” she says.
Singing voices, that is. Nearly 40 tunes are woven into the fabric of the film, which tells the tale of hard rock royals trying to overtake competing genres including pop, country, funk, classical and techno. “Different tribes of trolls celebrating different genres of music,” says Universal’s head of film music Mike Knobloch.
Adds Shay: “We wanted people to come together and telling that story through musical genres seemed like a clever way of doing it without feeling preachy.”
That’s no small feat when it comes to using popular songs.

Close-Up is a feature that spotlights films now playing on Mubi. Natsuka Kusano's Domains is exclusively showing March 12 - April 10, 2020 in Mubi's Undiscovered series. For her second feature, Domains, Natsuka Kusano wanted to make a film that can witness an actor's transformation. In Japanese, she uses the term 事件 (jiken) or "case" in reference to this transformation, like a case of a crime or an event. In Domains there are indeed two cases operating on a fictional and non-fictional level: the investigation of the murder of a young girl (fiction) and the investigation of actors rehearsing their roles (non-fiction). The film opens with a policeman (Kenta Ryu) reading back a statement by Aki Takemoto (Asami Shibuya) on murdering her friend's three-year-old daughter, Honoka. As the policeman reads back her words to confirm that there are no mistakes, Aki sits, looking detached. The recounting is chronological and the retelling is eerily mundane.

The box-office is in the news a lot of late, with Avatar now on the verge of surpassing Titanic to become the biggest grossing movie of all time, both domestically and worldwide (it surpassed Titanic worldwide yesterday). Once Avatar overtakes Titanic, however, most of the major records will belong to a handful of titles: Avatar (all time, biggest second through seventh weekends), The Dark Knight (fastest to reach $100 through $450 million, plus the biggest opening weekend of all time), E.T. Oh, cast of "Undiscovered," where have you gone? Yes, one of the worst films of 2005 featured the big screen acting debut of one Ashlee Simpson whose Top 40 popularity and some snazzy cinematography couldn't save the movie's lame script and uninspired direction. Her co-stars have floundered as well, except for possibly Steven Strait who managed to get absolutely no career bump by starring in Roland Emmerich's "10,000 B.C.," but at least it almost made $100 million right? And poor Shannyn Sossamon. Online fans loved her last TV series, "Moonlight, but not enough to save it. The overhyped promise after...

ICM has hired former Lakeshore Entertainment vp acquisitions and co-productions Bic Tran as an agent in the firm's Los Angeles office, bolstering ICM's presence in the independent and international film sector. She will join ICM head of independent and international film Hal Sadoff as well as agents Sarah Lash and B.J. Ford. "Bic's ability to successfully shepherd projects from the early stages of development through production makes her an ideal candidate for our team," Sadoff said. Tran produced the 2005 teen comedy Undiscovered and, at Lakeshore, developed and packaged such films as Underworld, Wicker Park, The Next Best Thing and Arlington Road.
She's a New York model hoping to launch an acting career; he's a sensitive New York singer-songwriter looking to snag that elusive record deal. They both come to Los Angeles in search of their dreams and, in, the process end up finding each other.
That's the gist of Undiscovered, an entirely dispensable, soapy caricature of a love story that comes complete with a jukebox full of music industry cliches plus Ashlee Simpson's big feature film debut.
Unleashed by Lions Gate at a time of year when its target teen female audience is going to be preoccupied with back-to-school shopping, the film will unlikely be more than a blip on the boxoffice charts but is bound to pop up on an MTV or VH1 movie night, where it really belonged in the first place.
For his feature directorial debut, Irish video director Meiert Avis, whose body of work includes a number of defining U2 videos, including the Grammy-winning Where the Streets Have No Name, returns to that clip's L.A. setting, albeit one where, thanks to John Galt's script, characters have Spelling-ready names like Brier Tucket and Luke Falcon.
The former, played by Pell James, is the fresh-scrubbed aspiring actress, and the latter, played by Steven Strait, is the hunky, brooding musician who shares an apartment with a bulldog who rides a wicked skateboard (played by Tyson the Skateboarding Bulldog).
It's meaningful glances at first sight for Brier and Luke, but there are the inevitable complications. Brier is theoretically still involved with Mick (Stephen Moyer), a philandering British rocker with an appetite for twin groupies, and she has promised her brassy surrogate mom of an agent (Carrie Fisher) not to make the same mistake again.
Also, in a bid to generate a little career buzz for Luke, Brier and her new best friend, Clea (a subdued, unadorned Simpson), enlist the help of Josie (Shannyn Sossamon), a paparazzi magnet of a Brazilian model, and the resulting media attention doesn't go unnoticed by Garrett Schweck (Fisher Stevens), an obnoxious record producer who signs Luke to his label.
In an attempt to keep it real, the production takes advantage of such locales as the Mint and the Troubadour, but though the location scouts have come up with something more welcome than the usual stock shots of the Hollywood sign, the scripting lends it all the gritty authenticity of a temporary tattoo.
Throughout it all, the young actors emote meaningfully, while the older actors, including Peter Weller as a legendary impresario who dispenses Bob Evans-worthy nuggets of wisdom from behind his sunglasses, appear to have been left to their own, character-driven devices.
Now if you could have spent the entire 90 minutes just hanging with that skateboarding bulldog, you would have got yourself a movie.

As three new wide releases opened in the late summer milieu, Universal's The 40-Year-Old Virgin lived up to its reviews and exit poll numbers and captured first place for the second consecutive weekend. The R-rated comedy, starring Steve Carell and directed by Judd Apatow, racked up $16.3 million -- dropping a slim 24% from its debut. Virgin scored well in exit polls, and a high majority of its reviews were positive. The late-summer hit has gleaned $48.6 million after 10 days in release. Dimension's The Brothers Grimm held sway in the second spot with a debut of $15.1 million. The fantasy-horror film from director Terry Gilliam, starring Matt Damon and Heath Ledger, opened in 3,087 theaters and arrived at the low end of the area expected. The weekend's two other newcomers -- Screen Gems' The Cave and Lions Gate's Undiscovered -- each had disappointing bows, with Undiscovered receiving the worst of it. The Cave arrived in the fifth spot with $6.1 million, while Undiscovered debuted in the 20th position with a $676,048 from 1,304 sites -- averaging a meager $518 per theater. Pell James and Ashlee Simpson star in Undiscovered, directed by Meiert Avis.

Pop beauty Ashlee Simpson's manager and father Joe Simpson has changed the gay plot in her movie debut Wannabe, because he's uncomfortable with his daughter playing a lesbian. The former Baptist minister fears the star's chances of breaking into Hollywood would be hampered if she played a homosexual, so he ordered movie producers to alter the romantic comedy's script, reports American gossip site Pagesix.Com. He explains, "I changed it. It doesn't work for her to be gay the first thing out. She said, 'But it's cool, it's edgy, it's different,' and of course the filmmakers were like, 'It's cool for a woman to be a lesbian.' She's going to be a huge movie star. She's like Meg Ryan or Cameron Diaz, with probably more depth. When we're done, she'll play it all."...
