Mayweather/McGregor celeb fans are gonna be screwed out of prime Strip parking if they swoop in last minute ... because Vegas doesn't want the private jet s**t show that went down for Mayweather's last fight of the century. You'll recall the famous pics of McCarran International Airport tarmacs choked with PJs in 2015 for Mayweather/Pacquiao. That traffic jam taught 'em a lesson. Airport sources tell TMZ, McCarran's implemented a reservation system. The bad news...

Head to the movies this weekend to see Logan Lucky, and you'll see more than Steven Soderbergh ending his moviemaking retirement phase and returning to the big screen. (You've been greatly missed, sir.) You'll see more than just Channing Tatum and Adam Driver playing down-on-their-luck Southern brothers who hatch a plan to rob the Charlotte Motor Speedway. You'll even see more than Daniel Craig sporting a bottle-blond crop-cut hairdo and Seth MacFarlane sporting something on his head that looks like a cross between a mullet, a Jheri curl and roadkill.

Avildsen Who won the Oscar for directing Rocky!” he wrote alongside a photo of the two. “R. I. P. I’m sure you will soon be directing Hits in Heaven- Thank you , Sly”
“Rocky” also won Best Picture and Best Editing at the Academy Awards, with Stallone earning nods for both his screenplay and his performance in the title role. And… breathe. More or less everybody’s been holding their breath for the last month or so, as the expiration of the current contract between the Writers’ Guild Of America and the Alliance of Motion Picture And Television Producers at midnight on May 1st approached. Contract negotiations aren’t normally headline news, but with the WGA representing virtually every working screenwriter in the U.S, and the AMPTP representing the studios and networks who make their TV shows and movies, the risk, if the two sides couldn’t come to agreement, was that there could be a writers’ strike of the kind that crippled the industry back in 2007.

For such a highly anticipated event, the Cannes Film Festival tends to contain a fairly predictable lineup: The Official Selection focuses on established auteurs whose work lands a coveted slot at the flashy gathering on autopilot. That was certainly the case last year, when the 2016 edition opened with a Woody Allen movie and featured new work from the likes of Pedro Almodovar, Nicolas Winding Refn, the Dardennes brothers and Olivier Assayas.
But we live in unpredictable times, and judging by today’s announcement of the Official Selection for Cannes 2017, even the world’s most powerful festival isn’t impervious to change. This year’s Cannes is filled with surprises: television and virtual reality, some intriguing non-fiction selections, and a whole lot of unknown quantities that push the festival in fresh directions.

I can't imagine that the wee moviegoers of the world won't be getting all the Big Hero 6, Lego and Groot goodies their hearts desire over Christmas but here are ten stocking stuffers we wish we could play with on Thursday morning.
Listen, nobody is ever going to serve the niche within the niche within the niche markets -- I 've accepted that fact that I'll never own Vera Drake action figures or, to quote Waiting for Guffman, a Remains of the Day lunchbox. But that shouldn't stop the dreaming. Some of the following prezzies inspired by 2014 movies, would surely put huge smiles on the face of your cinephile loved ones. Some of these you can actually stuff in stockings. Others do not exist.

With Christmas only a few days away, this week’s home entertainment releases are indeed a bit light but that doesn’t mean fans won’t have a few titles to look forward to. Several SyFy series are making their way onto Blu-ray and DVD, Lionsgate is also releasing the latest After Dark Original film, Sanatorium, and we’ve got an indie thriller and action flick from Universal to look forward to as well.
Spotlight Titles:
Continuum: Season Three (Universal Studios Home Entertainment, Blu-ray & DVD)
In Season 3 of Continuum, Kiera (Rachel Nichols) faces the immediate consequences of Alec’s (Erik Knudsen) betrayal at the end of Season 2 when he disappeared in a flash of light with the time travel device Kiera hoped might send her home. Alec’s impulsive decision sets in motion a chain of events which pushes Kiera into a shocking alliance with a former enemy. Kiera...

We've had arguments, we've had romances, and we've had Gary Busey's bits. Yep, it's been another action-packed series of Celebrity Big Brother, but we're all going to have to find social lives pretty soon because it comes to an end tonight!
It's anyone's game regarding the winner - even more so after that whole 'Helen winning Big Brother' debacle - and actually CBB's got a history of surprise victors (we're still smarting over Ulrika). So who'll take the crown tonight? Join us from 8pm when the show kicks off to find out...
22:40All of the other housemates join Gary on the stage to enjoy the fireworks. But that's it from them - and from us! Thanks for joining us - and make sure you keep making your feelings known in the comments... We'll see you back here in January, yeah?

They say better late than never and Manchester United have left it very late indeed to complete arguably The signing of the summer. United have agreed to sign Monaco forward Radamel Falcao on a season-long loan which will undoubtedly appease suffering Reds fans following their nightmare start to the season.
One set of supporters who will not be happy however are Arsenal’s. The Gunners too were interested in signing Falcao and are in the market for a new striker following the news that Oliver Giroud will be out until the New Year with a broken leg. With just a little over seven hours to go until the transfer window slams shut at the time of writing, Arsene Wenger could certainly do to sign a forward.
The Gunners’ need for added quality in the final third has been further underlined by their middling start to the Premier League season.

Filmmaking is not an art, no matter what Cahiers du Cinéma tries to tell you. It’s a total crapshoot. It’s art made by a committee which, more often than not, manages to avoid the problem of “too many cooks in the kitchen”. A film production is dozens – maybe even hundreds – of the people involved in a film chucking ideas at a wall and seeing what sticks. We know this because of the amount of articles we read, making of documentaries we watch, and interviews we read with cast and crew all the way down the credits list. We also know it because of the amount of irrevocable changes films make whilst they’re being made.
Every successful film that comes out is something of a happy accident, the conflation of all these things somehow resulting in a good movie. Life finds a way, we guess. Equally...

With seconds left in the game Sunday night, the United States' hopes of breezing into the next round of the World Cup were dashed - but their loss (or, well, tie) was Twitter's gain. After Portugal's reigning star Cristiano Ronaldo crossed the ball to teammate Silvestre Varela, who headed it into the goal to settle the game 2-2, the internet exploded with shock, anguish and every emotion in between. Below are some of the best of those reactions. What a match. 30 seconds away from advancing! Still, we control our own destiny... #IBelieve Go on #Usmnt— Justin Timberlake (@jtimberlake) June 23, 2014 I Guess I Watch Soccer Now!

When Mario Party 10 was announced, I was so busy preparing for Day One of E3 that I ended up missing it. I’d watched all of Nintendo’s special Direct livestream, but became worried about missing my shuttle and decided it’d be best to start getting ready, as opposed to watching the Last Minute stuff and risking being late. After all, it was my first E3 and, as expected, it was crazy.
Being as busy as we were, I didn’t really get to do much news checking or read many forums while I was in Los Angeles. Instead, my mind was focused on making appointments and writing as much new content as possible. So, it wasn’t until I got to Nintendo’s booth a day later that I found out about the impending tenth instalment of this once wildly popular party game series. Truthfully, the discovery was...

Cupcake vending machines are old news. And now that we have burrito vending machines too, it makes sense that a marijuana vending machine couldn't be too far behind. Where the munchies go, the pot follows. Well, they're here. Colorado unveiled its first weed vending machine this weekend on the patio of Montana's Smokehouse in Avon. Good news for the stoner-on-the-go: The ZaZZZ machine will dispense all your favorite edibles, quick and easy! Bad news: Only if you have a medical license and valid ID. Here are all the reasons we can think of that you would need weed this fast: • Last minute tickets to a Dave Matthews Band concert. • You just drove past a White...

The newest casting announcement about the upcoming Expendables film seems calculated to draw in a younger, female audience...
Some very strange, unexpected and unlikely news has come out today regarding some late additions to the cast of The Expendables 3. On April 1st, of all days.
Pop group One Direction have joined the cast of The Expendables 3. Regular Den of Geek readers will be aware that we covered the release of the One Direction movie in some depth, owing to a lost bet on Twitter. Most of us expected that to be last time the group were featured on this site. We also acknowledge that, back in 2011, we ran a piece suggesting that pop singer Justin Bieber had joined the cast of The Expendables 2. That was an April Fool’s Day joke, of course, and was warmly received by our readers,...
