One day at a costume house, Ernest Bourbon goes mad and attacks the mannequins in their various period costumes. When he leaves, the dummies come to life and, under the direction of the one dressed as Napoleon, plan and execute their vengeance.
It's one of the better Onesime short comedies directed by Jean Durand. Considering the vast number of shorts, including dramas and westerns-camembert he directed, a lot of them were of no particular interest. However, occasionally he turned out one which made use of fantasy elements, and they were often very inventive variations on the bone-breaking slapstick varied by the Europeans. This is one of them.
