"The Chick Magnent" is the story of a man, trying to find his place in the world of sex and lust. A cute idea, but something that can not be appreciated by all. The idea of "love on the inside" is a bit hard to pin-point. The women are stuck to the leading male, and only Dawn, the plain, homely girl, seems to notice. To all who have seen this film, you might ask the confusing question, "Why does no one else notice?" Although this movie lacked the finale flare that most low-budget films have, it made a lasting impression at the 2005 Cinequest Film Festival in San Jose, CA. A down-to-earth flick, made with down-to-earth people. Steven Sprinkles is quite the genius, working together with the talents of Chris Garcia, once again. I do hope something else becomes of this creative idea.
