This was the third An Audience with... programme that I had seen, the first two being Kylie Minogue and Harry Hill. The squeaky voiced comedian Joe Pasquale came back to Britain after being crowned King of the Jungle in I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! He obviously did a few good jokes about this, including references to his fellow campmates, and runner-up Paul Burrell briefly joins him on stage as well. In the show, Joe forces Melvyn Hayes to swap sweats with a civilian, gets Bradley Walsh to operate a camera, sings a song about his pet guinea pig Trevor, or "Clever Trevor", with Delta Goodrem, he paints Lisa Riley, and there is a final sequence with The Great Gonzo (Dave Goelz) from the Muppets. There are nearly all the other I'm a Celebrity contestants watching in the celebrity audience. Celebrities that can be spotted in the audience included: John Altman (Nasty Nick Cotton from EastEnders), Cheryl Baker, John Bardon (Jim Branning from EastEnders), Jennie Bond, Frank Bruno, Nicki Chapman, Gary Bushell, Caprice, Fran Cosgrave, John Fashanu, Vanessa Feltz, Sheila Ferguson, Uri Geller, Neil Hamilton, Brian Harvey, Gloria Hunniford, Linda Lusardi, Jodie Marsh, Debbie McGee, Nina Myskow, Bernie Nolan, Des O'Connor, Martin Offiah, Gary Rhodes, Melanie Sykes, Shaun Williamson (Barry Evans from EastEnders), and Barbara Windsor. Joe Pasquale was number 90 on 100 Greatest Stand-Ups, and An Audience With was number 26 on ITV's 50 Greatest Shows. Very good!
