Profanity

  • 70 f-words and a lot of other milder language. Russian strong profanities are also used.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Several scenes involving a minor character snorting cocaine, and "using meth" (no on-screen use of the latter.)
  • Most characters smoke and drink.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Almost the same level of explicit violence as the Netflix series, but not as thematically dark.
  • A cannibal eats another man alive, partly offscreen and party seen. What's seen and the sounds are incredibly disturbing and not for those with weak stomachs.
  • Jigsaw in general may frighten young children/ the squeamish.
  • The violence may be considered intense, though it's mostly cartoonish and over the top.
  • While this film may have MUCH more violence and gore than the 2004 film, it's still pretty graphic nonetheless.
