Jeff Wells, a British film buff, bought a 16mm print of the long-lost film in a bargain box at a shop in Brighton in 1984. Adelphi Films, who own the rights to the 1953 horror, was trying to track it down to include it their archive at the British Film Institute (BFI). In 2018, Wells only realized Adelphi had been searching for the film when he tried to sell it on eBay for £5. It has now been donated to the BFI.
