The movie is based on stories from Archin Panjabhak's short stories published in Thai newspaper about his experience working in two tin mines in the South of Thailand. The stories were eventually collected into three pocket books. At old age, Archin were awarded by Thai government's Fine Art Department as one of the nation's Most Valuable Artists in Literature.
Was selected by Thai Art Ministry as one of nation's "cultural treasure" in 2013.
