- Scene with guy and girl making out in a car in the woods, shows girls breast.
- Little talk of a man "fucking another man's wife". A man tells a young worker he "better think twice before you go diddling some other man's wife.", the young man says he's not "diddling" another man's wife. The same young man later does have sex with his friend's wive. They are inside a car, We see the bare breasts and back of the woman. Later when they are finished she puts on her bra and he pulls up his belt. He reveals his own wife is getting suspicious.

- Several people are killed in the movie. We do not see much of the killing. In a flashback penny's dad is shown dead on a car crash. Penny's mom is still in the car and her neck is slit, she tries to talk to her daughter before she bleeds out and dies. An older woman accidentally hits a man with a car. She quickly gets out an goes over to him, he gets up and she later says she only "grazed" him. While Penny is running from the hitchhiker she trips over a rock and falls, hitting the back of her head on another rock. Eddie reads a newspaper and says that a waitress over at a local diner has been killed. The killer "ran a meat skewer clean through her neck" he says. He also says a businessman was found dead in his trunk outside the diner. An older woman is shown being killed. She is stabbed twice in the chest, and when she falls to the ground and tries to crawl away she is stabbed over ten times in the back. The Hitchhiker is hiding under penny's car, when a man walks to the front of it he then stabs The man's foot with his knife, and quickly pulls him down and pulls him under the car. Stabbing sounds are then heard. A young woman is stabbed twice in the chest than has her neck slit. A man slips on a rock and rolls down a hill, when he gets up and turns around he is stabbed. The car Penny is trapped in has it's windows smeared with blood. The hitchhiker cuts off Penny's pinky toe. The hitchhiker grabs ahold of Penny's hair and pulls at her, she bites his hand and he lets go. The hitchhiker wraps his hands around penny's neck and begins to strangle her, she is to the point she seems like she is losing the battle but she picks up a pencil and jams it into the killer's left eye, He screams as he pulls it out. Penny begins to climb out of the trunk and he violently pulls on her, she kicks him off and locks him in the trunk, he screams and bangs on the door. The killer tries to stab penny but she dodges it an kicks him over, then hits him over the head with a rock. He is later pushed in front of a car and hit.

- The movie is intense and can be frightening for some. Scenes like when the killer attacks, penny realizing she is trapped in the car and The part in the movie where Penny apologizes to Orianna are all very intense.
