- Kissing between couple
- Nothing major, but twice Jaden Smith is in his underwear. Once to be bathed with a washcloth and once while in a bed. Not sexual, but still noteworthy.
Violence & Gore

- Trying to get to a meeting, Chris darts across the road, only to have a car hit him. He goes up on the hood, breaking the windshield and losing a shoe in the process, but is otherwise okay. There is a scene where Chris makes a blood donation and blood is seen filling a tube.
Profanity

- Half of F*ck is seen spray painted on a wall
- 3 uses of fuck 1 seen 2 said in one scene. Little boy asking about the word on the wall
- 2 "s" words, 7 asses (3 used with "hole," including 1 said as "A-hole"), 4 hells, 3 d**ns and 2 S.O.B.s. Very mild language through-out. Used only to express stress of a tough life.

- The film is full of intense and emotional scenes.
- Most of the film can be quite emotional and intense.
- Chris gets into a subway car, but his hand and his portable bone density machine end up stuck outside the train's door as the train takes off (forcing him to drop the machine and it bounces down the platform).
Spoilers
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- Jaden Smith let his action figure fall in the street and lost him. This is an emotional scene.
- The toilet scene is very emotional and will most probably make people cry
- The two main characters are forced out of their apartment. This scene can be quite emotional and intense.
