interesting!!

I like this movie. It is very original take on documentary genre, and also very interesting. Director/writer Nedzad Begovic made mockumentary about his own life so the main protagonists of the film are himself and his family. The film tends to be funny and most of the scenes are done to deliver some kind of joke in the end. It works for the most of the movie, but the scenes and the jokes get to "totaly personal" from time to time. That "parsonal" parts are hard to follow. The other remarks goes to the fact that movie have no consistent storyline that we follow. The film is rather a big pot of very different scenes. But, I have to say it works. I like the fact that film is done without crew, equipment, and the budget. Just filmmaker and his camera. And I guess sometimes it's all what it takes to make a movie... congratulations, great movie!

Witty conceptual art film
johno-218 February 2006
I saw this film at the 2006 Palm Springs International Film Festival and Director/Writer Nedzad Begovic and his wife Amina were on hand to introduce the film and take Q&A after. I'm sure Begovic made this with no expectations of it being Bosnia-Herzegovin'a official submission for consideration by the Academy Awards but that's what happened. This is possibly the most unpretentious film ever made. Bergovic and his wife Amina and their two daughters are the film's cast in this personal and very witty mockumentary as the director examines his past and his present and looks to the future. Bergovic's droll narration is delivered in Bob Newhart style and fans of the old TV show Taxi might see a little of Latka Gravas in him. Bergovic was concerned if his humor would come across to American audiences but he was assured by my audience that it came across just fine. This may also be one of the lowest budget films ever made but that's OK. This is charming and so is Bewrgovic and his family. I hope he can get some financial backing and write and direct a feature film comedy soon. I would give this a 6.5 out of a scale of 10 and recommend it.

Boring and lame

This is the worst film I have ever watched. No concept, just random takes are stitched together. The director tries to make them funny, but his struggle makes the whole film very awkward. The Netflix description is a hoax. If you have felt yourself ever useless, I really recommend to watch this film, and you'll realise that there's a man on this world who is more useless than you. The nominations are shocking me, but I guess I could win on those contest with a movie about my t*** floating on a water. Is that the future of the amateur films? I hope not, and we can see more delightful product from other directors.
