The lives of the Bravo members and their families are more complicated than ever.
Seal Team Season 5 Episode 9 was another standout installment, delivering drama, high-stakes, and shocking cliffhangers.
We'll start with Jason because he was put through a lot during "Close to Home."
Learning his face was out there was one thing, but the revelation that his personal details could also be doing the rounds was downright harrowing.
If you watch Seal Team online, you know he's been going through it, but this development almost tipped him over the edge.
Rounding up his family was understandably tough, more so when you consider the strained relationship with his father.
If his father wanted to give him some perspective by what he said about Alana asking for help when he was deployed, well, he's done the opposite.
Jason felt terrible when Alana died because he knew he wasn't the best husband, and...

The Conners entered a new era on Wednesday, with Dan now a newly remarried man living with his second wife Louise. But the series’ opening credits were not updated to reflect the change in family dynamic — and they probably aren’t going to be updated anytime soon.
The fact that the Roseanne offshoot has yet to change its main title sequence seems awfully odd, especially when you consider that A) Roseanne switched things up a staggering 11 (!) times over 10 seasons, and B) the scene shown in the Conners opening credits represents the family’s first sit-down breakfast after Roseanne Conner died.

Fremantle’s UK drama production outfit Castlefield has secured the TV rights to Cara Hunter’s bestselling crime novels, featuring Detective Inspector Adam Fawley.
Castlefield is yet to find a home for the adaptation, but is developing a series based on Hunter’s four books, which have topped The Sunday Times and Amazon bestseller lists in the UK.
Each novel follows Di Fawley as he investigates a domestic tragedy or crime that demands answers from the victim’s family and friends. In the first book, Close To Home, he looks into the disappearance of an eight-year-old girl from a family party.
Hunter said: “I’ve always ‘seen’ the Fawley books play out in my head as I write them, and the style I developed for them was a deliberate attempt to replicate the feel and pace of the best TV crime – the short scenes, the fast pace, and the changing points of view.

Nashville-based honky tonk performer Chuck Mead has announced plans for his new album Close to Home, his first full-length release since 2014’s Free State Serenade. The LP’s head-bobbing title track is out today.
Mixing a groove that’s part-t.Rex stomp and part-outlaw country swagger, “Close to Home” comes with a generous helping of pedal steel, a twanging baritone guitar solo and Mead’s philosophical musings on situations that align themselves beautifully. In one instance, a story of infidelity begins to seep out as Hank Williams’ voice wafts in from the adjoining room,...

Hey "Grey's Anatomy" fans. Wow, the new season 15 reports just keep on flowing these days. We've got another brand new piece of intel to share with you guys for the upcoming season. It turns out that the producers are bringing back someone who is pretty close to Meredith. In fact, this person is family to Meredith. According to recent report from the folks over at Entertainment Weekly, They are bringing back Meredith's father Thatcher Grey. He will be played by the same actor Jeff Perry. This couldn't come at a better time for Jeff because he just recently become unemployed from the now defunct "Scandal" show. He played character Cyrus Beene in Scandal. It's currently not yet known how many season 15 episodes Thatcher will appear in, or what his storyline will entail. However, the folks over at TV Line have a theory that Thatcher could be in a very emotional...

The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree lighting ceremony went off on Wednesday without a hitch -- or a single mention of Matt Lauer's high-profile absence.
Today show co-hosts Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb and Al Roker were all there and all-smiles as they introduced the musical guests for NBC's two-hour live Christmas in Rockefeller Center celebration hours after Lauer was fired by the network for alleged "inappropriate workplace behavior."
The three chipper co-hosts didn't let Lauer's high-profile ousting keep them from enjoying the beloved tree lighting ceremony, or snapping beaming selfies together from the middle of the iconic New York City landmark.
"Getting ready to light the #rockcenterxmasstree on @NBC with my pals," Roker captioned a cheerful pic he posted Wednesday night.
However, NBC Nightly News anchor Lester Holt did join the three hosts during the celebration, where he mentioned it was his first time participating in the star-studded ceremony.

Matt Lauer's former Today co-anchor, Ann Curry, has spoken out about the news that Lauer was fired for alleged inappropriate sexual behavior.
In an interview with People, Curry revealed that she's "still really processing" Lauer's firing, but said that the actions taken by NBC News demonstrate that "the battle lines are now clear" regarding workplace conduct.
"The women's movement got us into the workplace, but it didn't make us safe once we got there. And the battle lines are now clear," she shared. "We need to move this revolution forward and make our workplaces safe. Corporate America is quite clearly failing to do so, and unless it does something to change that, we need to keep doing more ourselves."

Today show fans were stunned on Wednesday morning, when co-anchor Savannah Guthrie announced that Matt Lauer had been fired from the long-running morning show for "inappropriate sexual behavior."
NBC News chairman Andy Lack also revealed in a letter to staff that Lauer had been accused by a female colleague of “inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace," and after a "serious review," called Lauer's alleged actions a "clear violation of our company's standards." Lauer was then immediately fired.
"While it is the first complaint about his behavior in the over 20 years he’s been at NBC News, we were also presented with a reason to believe this may not have been an isolated incident," Lack wrote. The sexual misconduct allegations against Matt Lauer that just came to light apparently occurred three years ago.
A source at NBC tells Et that the 59-year-old newsman was fired from the Today show after a woman came forward accusing Lauer of "inappropriate sexual behavior" throughout 2014, including at the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.
The network source also tells Et that the woman spoke with human resources on Monday, and the decision to terminate Lauer's estimated $20 million contract was decided on Tuesday night.
Another source tells Et that NBC News chairman Andrew Lack had an editorial call on Wednesday morning, and told employees that Lauer was remorseful and understood their decision to fire him. The source adds that the allegations that the accuser brought forward are very credible, which is why NBC decided to take action.

There's been a lot of chatter lately about a certain, present day star having reservations about his involvement with a new Batman movie; Reservations that have to do with the quality of the script. This isn't the first time a Bat actor has had to choose between fight or flight, of course, as Michael Keaton famously came to that fork in the road when Warner Bros. asked him to do Batman Forever.
The actor had just finished working on two Batman films with Tim Burton, and now he was asked to do a third, but with a different director. Joel Schumacher was hired to direct Batman Forever, and Keaton was seemingly going to don the cowl again...until a key moment occurred. Similar to where we find ourselves in 2017, Keaton says that script issues were why he bailed, and then he got even more specific than that:
"[The script] sucked. The script never was good.

Meet Nate and Marni, two complete opposites that have one thing in common: they are both eccentrically unable to find someone that they believe is “The One.” That is, until they mistakenly meet on a blind date that they go on together instead of with the dates they were set up with. After establishing a connection with each other that neither has felt before, they defy logic and reason to date one another even after sharing quirks that would normally send any sane person running for the hills. Once you’re absorbed by its terror, you can’t even scream. The slimy mass that is the Blob first thrilled audiences when it took on Steve McQueen on the big screen in 1958. It next oozed into cinemas via the 1972 sequel, Beware! The Blob, before being reborn in a 1988 remake directed by Chuck Russell and co-written by Frank Darabont. Proving that it’s still a relentless alien amoeba, 1958’s The Blob is being remade once again.
Goldcrest Films is moving forward with a remake of The Blob, with Simon West (The Expendables 2, Con Air) lined up for the director’s chair and shooting slated to begin this summer. Modern-day special effects capabilities are expected to bring the Blob to life like never before, and Chris Haney (Avatar, Avengers Assemble) will oversee the VFX in post-production.

Thanks to the successful film adaptations of The Hunger Games franchise and The Fault In Our Stars, 2014 could be dubbed the year of the Ya. The genre of books took over the box office with other big screen takes on the first of the Divergent series, The Giver, If I Stay, and The Maze Runner.
While the primary focus on these films was the young stars that embodied the angst-ridden teens of the books, every one of these movies was supported by an award-winning adult actor. Even Meryl Streep got into the Ya game, adding pedigree to The Giver, which starred budding star Brenton Thwaites.
But how did Streep compare to Julianne Moore, who stepped into the role of President Coin in the third Hunger Games film, or to Kate Winslet, who portrayed the villain in the first installment of Divergent? We ranked all of the 2014 film performances based on who used their Oscar prowess to maximum...

There’s no doubting that the new season of American Horror Story is the most frightening and perverse yet. While a number of creator Ryan Murphy’s actors — Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, and Evan Peters — have returned, the fourth iteration of the series has also featured a number of new faces. Among them are newcomer Finn Wittrock as the devilish man-child, Dandy Motts, Michael Chiklis as the freak show’s resident strong man, and Wes Bentley as the two-faced Edward Mordrake. While all three have made their own impact on Freak Show, none of them have been more severe than Twisty the Clown played by John Carroll Lynch.
“It’s great to play a character that is so starkly drawn, and it’s really fun to be a bad guy,” Lynch tells La Times. “In this case I really like that Ryan and the writers...
