Warning: Spoilers
If you manage to find this TV series you will fall instantly under the magical spell of these characters. Such a treasure and you will wish this series to never end. Each character is so masterfully drawn that you will feel like you know them really well. The setting in Alice Springs is also a very important part of the series and never fails to impress. Enjoy and feel joy that you have met these people. There is humor, sadness, triumph, and love in each episode .

When viewing this TV show it is hard for me to select one character over another as my favorite . What begins as Jack and Helen morphs into so much more.

The Alice

I love the Alice so much it is such a great show I'm so sad that they took it off just because their wasn't enough audiences to watch. I mean what about the other people who loved it like me anyway. The Alice is a great show about fate lust hope love and life, and all different people come from all over Australia and get drawn together by the same thing LOVE..... Just watch it sometime it is set in the red center of Australia where everything life can bring happens. Its such a great cast with two nominated logie award winning Caitlin McDougall and Erik Thomson who played Mitch Stevens in the great Aussie drama All saints. Caitlin McDougall who played the notorious Sandra Todd in the 2003 Aussie drama series Always Greener

Deserves 'cult classic' status.

Really cannot understand why the comedy/drama 'The Alice' was not a hit series. It had it all ... heart, intelligence, and wonderful 'quirky yet believable' characters. Great theme music, too. Hopefully one day 'The Alice' will become a cult classic.

Refreshing change

It's so nice to come across a fun, feelgood series with quirky characters and a fantastic background of the red immense centre of Australia. Great characters, well acted and superb soundtrack. All the actors and actresses give convincing portrayals of their characters which help the audience engage with the production. There's something strangely hypnotic about the area and is a great advert for the Australian tourist board. Sadly the programme was given little exposure in the UK however thanks to the advent of streaming giant's Amazon and Netflix people are at long last discovering these gems which would never been possible with the old-fashioned outlets such as BBC and ITV in the UK.
