more than good intentions

a trip. after a murder. tradition as salvation. and a long trip to truth. a film who seduce for the story and the manner to use close-up. not remarkable but useful. not original but using in clever manner old stereotypes, it becomes more than interesting, a bitter mixture of old stereotypes and cultural references. short, it has the virtues and the sins of many independent movies. and that is not a real surprise. only a form of new perspective about small things. about the new beginnings and decisions, about the purpose of life and transform the past as first step of hope. a film like a travel in essence of a Dostoievsky's character. maybe another Raskolnikof. the tone is the same. the atmosphere is not different. the steps to salvation are well known. in fact, a pledge for understand the force of the truth.

an error. a run. an old tradition as way to escape . a long series of experiences. the revelation. and the only fair choice. a film who reminds more than presents. because the way of Bastian is source for understand a world, for remind small fundamental things, for recognize motifs and themes, for joy crumbs of a form of poetry of image and story. it is not a remarkable movie but a beautiful one. and that is the important thing. because all is , in that case, illustration of the Christian need to redeem the sin for real purification. the end is real inspired. so, a beautiful film. not great, not spectacular, not impressive. only beautiful. and it is enough.
