I'm not ready to start waxing poetic about how "different" this looks because, honestly, it doesn't. Stylistically, it may be a departure for the guy who directed Creature from the Hillbilly Lagoon . But every director has to mature, right? A trailer and a poster are here and we're sharing them with you below. Here's how it's being described...

Last year, author/artist/screenwriter Stephen Romano unveiled Shock Festival, a lavish volume that homaged the B-movie genre via histories and a trove of artwork and photos of horror, action and sexploitation flicks…that never existed (order it here). Now, Romano is adapting the book into a multi-dvd edition for POPcinema, and we got the details from him and an exclusive first peek at the cover art, along with a promo poster.
“People got really excited about the fictional world of my book, because it reminded them of real movies they had forgotten about or wanted to revisit,” Romano tells Fango. “There are a lot of opportunities now for younger people to rediscover weirdo, nihilistic sci-fi films like Chosen Survivors or yucky, twisted 42nd Street shithouse classics like Slime City. Those were the types of films that inspired me to create my book. So when I was coming to the...

Indie filmmaker Richard Griffin, director of Splatter Disco and Creature From The Hillbilly Lagoon among others, is getting ready to premiere his latest feature, the “splatter-filled supernatural action/comedy” Nun Of That. He has also debuted the movie’s trailer (warning: not work-safe), which you can see below.
Nun Of That, produced by Griffin’s usual filmmaking partner Ted Marr, stars Sarah Nicklin (another of his regulars) as Sister Kelly Wrath, who’s got a habit…of flying off the handle. “After being gunned down in an alley, she ascends to heaven to receive training from some of the great figures of religious mythology. She is then set back to Earth to join the other members of the Order of the Black Habit, a group of supernatural vigilante nuns, as they fight evil and seek revenge against the mob.” The cast also includes Brandon Luis Aponte, Alexandra Cipolla, Michael Reed,...
