French red necks, life in small French villages, that's what it is about. Destined to home audiences, more than movie theaters, it can not get any interest from foreign audiences. It takes place in Pyrénées Orientales department and it is really cute, entertaining, with an ironic depiction of the rural life in those mountains, in the wilderness, the landscapes. However, I am not sure that this TV movie could be very useful to enhance tourist activities, business, in this part of France. The characters are bigger, more real, than life. I don't think that there was so many features speaking of Catalan community. An indeed interesting and agreeable little film.
