Are these people serious?
TheEmulator2310 October 2007
This was one of these documentaries where you wonder what went wrong with these people when they grew up. What happened to make them think such a thing as ridiculous as a Time Machine would really work? Besides the actual futurist (if that is really recognized I don't know) most of these people don't seem quite sane. I don't know if they are in it for the absurdity of it, (I do realize that Einstein theoretically had proved it works) or because they really believe it. I think it is quite interesting if not completely ridiculous that these people put so much time into something that is probably not going to happen. Granted if we continue with the technological advances maybe Someday it could happen, but not in any of our futures. I have a feeling we will all blow ourselves up long before that ever happens. That may be a sad outlook but if anything, these people are thinking/building something that just won't happen. Let's build a time machine, would should be the last thing someone says before they are stuck in a looney bin! You'll love the guy who builds one based on the 1960's movie! Are you kidding me, it is great because the man is dead serious. My only complaint is that this is a little longer and more involved. Otherwise a curious mini-documentary.
