Well, this was a disappointment. From the general idea i got of the show i expected quite an enjoyable watch, but was quite dismayed to see yet another flop. The general plot of a fifties sci-fi movie maker who has the power to bring his old monsters alive could be made so much better, but no, they go and use a bunch of 3D animations, the usual modern dialogue and absolutely no accuracy or fact that hasn't been warped like in Black Hole High, without the more enjoyable things which that show offers. The main characters, four teenagers (constantly called this by others as a sort of derogatory title) and the Mayor, as well as the movie director himself, are all extremely exaggerated, without much actual satire. The humour is decidedly unintelligent, and the loose scientific basis that is apparently meant to support the plot is as weak as the foundations of the Tower of Pisa. Barely 3 stars.

Warning: Spoilers
This show is awesomely funny! It is such a massive spoof of '50s B-grade monster movies that it makes it hilarious. Klaus von Steinhauer is a stereotypical monster movie creator, complete with fake German accent. The jokes it contains are weak at times, but that all runs in the vein of the show. The characters are such silly characters, which make it even more fun to watch.
If I could find a copy of the show on DVD, I would buy it because it is so funny that I would watch it over and over again! I would recommend this show to anyone who likes the spoof genre.
Altogether, a great show, one kids of all ages should enjoy.

Monster Warriors is both a send-up of and a love-letter to schlocky, low budget monster movies. Nostalgia tints every frame of the show; the soft-focus lighting, the purposefully clunky dialogue, the tropes played so straight they loop around and arrive at satire from the other direction, all combine to highlight how hilariously bad monster movies were and that's why we love them.
