I saw this at the 2006 Palm Springs International Festival of Short Films where it was one of the jury award winning films. This is a drama about a quadriplegic man and his wife in her recently found role as his caregiver for life. The strain of his wheelchair bound injury on their marriage is coming to showdown and he knows it and has planned for it. Lluís Quílez skillfully writes and directs his second short film. Isaac Vila does a great job as the film's cinematographer. Veteran actress Rosana Pastor is the wife and Sebastián Haro plays the husband. A brief screen appearance from Gerard Villegas as the couple's son. This is a well-done film and I would suspect we hear much more from Quílez in the future. I would give this an 8.5 out of 10.
