Goofy comedic zombie flick, and it didn't try to be anything more
D-Sligar20 February 2008
OK, I've read quite a few comments saying this was the worst film they've ever seen... obviously you haven't seen too many films if this one is at the bottom, try Gothic Vampires or others in the same league, then you'll see really bad.

This movie wasn't supposed to be scary or too serious, it was meant to be a spoof with some dumb ideas backing it it to make the audience laugh. Didn't the shirt the big black guy put on in the middle of the film give that away... not to mention the craziness at the end. It wasn't the worst, but was definitely down there with the rest of the B-genre films. If I had friends who wanted a non-serious, lets make fun of it while drinking or having a good time, I'd mention this just for the off-beat crap you see in it.

stinking pile of zombie *oo
Stooovie2 January 2008
I took this movie for New Year party and I think I couldn't make a better choice. I am quite used to watching bad movies (hey, I do my major on 50s sci-fi films), but there's always a movie that sets a new low. A friend of mine made something very similar for like 200 bucks, this stinker cost about 10 000x more money. The only three nice things about this movie are the lighting, Sabrina Gennarino and the fact it really makes you laugh out loud at times. Director has no clue how to set up a plot (basically if you miss the title scene, you have no idea what this is all about), he splices in scenes you have no idea what they mean. What appalled me in a special way was the horrible sound mix - every line is cut sharp before its reverb can finish. You may not spot it right down, but you will feel something is wrong with the sound. Special effects are laughably bad - monster is made of rubber with no animatronics at all, image effects look like made by someone with one day training in After Effects. Gore effects are nice, though.

If you want something REALLY bad for having a great time with friends who cannot stomach older films, get a copy of Day of Darkness. You are guaranteed to have some baaad movie fun.

Goofy but fun plot is not a total waste of time.
McQualude11 January 2008
Warning: Spoilers
My fondness for crappy B movies occasionally yields a gem. While this is not a gem it has a truly bizarre plot that no self respecting filmmaker would ever consider, which is probably why I love B movies. Let me summarize... some random stuff happens, zombies come, people flee to a bunker, more random stuff happens that includes people barking random things and being angry... then the weird stuff begins.

Main character (MC) is bitten by a zombie so the hard ass guy with the shotgun decides to lock MC in the basement with a chained zombie because everyone knows that zombie bites are not good. So MC is in the basement just long enough to poke at the zombie's penis (through it's pants) with a handy tree limb until the penis falls off. What would you do with a zombie penis? Naturally you would wrap it and put it in your pocket for later. Then the shotgun asshole has an inexplicable change of heart and brings the bitten MC back upstairs. We learn that MC is not a doctor but comes from a long line of doctors and 'knows the basics' whatever the heck that means. This saves him from going back to the basement. Apparently doctoring is passed on through the genes. The bunker is some sort of government facility covered in graffiti, apparently things went downhill fast after the apocalypse. The bunker is equipped with a multitude of things useful in B zombie movies such as a basement room with a chain with iron collar fastened to the wall; another room where the lights strobe (we know something bad will happen here later), a pole with a noose that happens to be perfect for capturing zombies but unfortunately the bunker has no food. Later we learn that the zombies are caused by alien parasites that turn men into zombies and make their penises fall off but turns the girls into horny, lusty vixens that can't wait to tear their clothes off. Luckily for MC, getting bit by a zombie means nothing in this movie. Luckily for the world, MC discovers that the aliens can't handle their liquor, especially cheap whiskey so the world is saved by the survivors all getting drunk and shooting zombies. WE WIN!

The problem with Zombie Movies...
JoeB1317 December 2008
Warning: Spoilers
...is that no one in a Zombie movie has ever seen a Zombie movie before. They all amazingly make the same mistakes, trapping themselves into a place that makes it easy for the Zombies to get at them.

This one is kind of different, in that they are space zombies fed by a germ that rode in a comet. The Zombies are actually incubators for aliens who are going to hatch out of people.

So we have a group of survivors, including a washed up Porn Star, a washed up action hero, a gay dude, a bible thumper, and a couple of strip club patrons. They hole up in an abandoned microwave bunker, while hoards of Zombies sporadically mob the fence. (I say sporadically, because on some occasions, they are there, and others, they aren't.)

Naturally, the survivors begin infighting amongst themselves. WHy? Because that's what happens in EVERY Zombie movie back to "Night of the Living Dead".

I can see why the Zombie movie has an attraction to young filmmakers. It allows you to cheaply and easily put a bunch of disparate characters in a situation where they are fighting for their lives. But seriously, who cares? The narrative on this movie is so jumpy and the plot makes so little sense we just can't follow it after a certain point. Especially the big reveal at the end, which the viewer could have figured out early on, but these people are too dumb.

Awful...Really
antenyte-125 January 2008
this is probably one of the worst if not THE worst I've seen out of all zombie movies. Starting, well, more or less decently, it evolves into some kind of unpredictable nonsense - the twists of the plot, involving aliens inhabiting the bodies of humans and turning them into flesh eating zombies and then trying to mix up their DNA to produce offspring of some freaky nature, I mean c'mon, was the scriptwriter on some kind of mix of alcohol and hallucinogens? The acting was absurd: actors look like talking wooden dolls with merely a shadow of what was supposed to be an emotion, like fear, anger, hatred, the dialogs are shallow, there is no reaction (or the reaction is so fake that basically makes me wonder whether they are real actors or just afraid of the camera) to what the partner is talking, I mean take for instance that woman, movie maker and a really really "wonderful" mother, who by discussing with how many men she has slept is showing an example to her daughter - that was one of the stupidest things I've seen. The crew gathered in the bunker of some kind is really colorful (including a god-fearing weirdo, a gay, a semi-couple or a couple to be, a pair of car sellers, one of them really likes tight clothing (especially loved his pink t-shirt with "hugs not drugs", a silent "hero", who's only tough when he has his gun, an ex-servicewoman, and lets don't forget poor Herbert locked in the basement) yet everyone seems to be careful about remembering the lines instead of trying to act. I think I could go on about this movie forever...If you are considering seeing it, you must either really have nothing nothing at all to see or are on a mission to see every possible zombie movie made, otherwise don't waste time, anything on the TV is way better than this, if not, go for a walk, read a decent book or find some other ways to entertain yourself. Honestly, my advice is not to even start watching - if there were a rating in a minus scale I'd probably have given it a minus 7 or so.

the worst
ziggyutah30 December 2007
I know I have seen worse movies, I just can't remember when. This doesn't even rate a B rating. F for Marian Tomas Griffin for saying she has been with animals and the last one was a horse. What a puke a real whore wouldn't even say that in a dialog. I should have known the movie was a piece of pooh when the zombie dick is dropped. Warn everyone about staying away from this crap. Okay, I can't post unless I have ten lines but saying more about this is pathetic. Therefore I shall say the movie would have been better if a real writer or one with credentials had at least reviewed the script and then tossed it in the garbage. This movie will certainly make money, but no way will it be in anything but the red zone.

Inept and lifeless
LARSONRD10 January 2008
Inept and lifeless zombie movie. We've seen it all before – and usually much much better. Cast does OK with a dumb and derivative script, but only Roshelle Pattison shines as the hero's girlfriend, providing a nicely expressive performance that makes her pain and worry very real. Style is marred by a sub-zero budget, and it shows (i.e., such as the autopsy scene where the camera keeps cutting to character reactions as they watch an alien lifeform coming out of a human victim, but the director never cuts to the lifeform itself, until we see it vaguely scurrying away). Character motivation and development is nonexistent and we never learn to care about any of the characters. This is hum-drum movie-making-by-numbers with very little appeal.

Zombie Parasites Stole My Penis!
lovecraft23127 October 2009
Warning: Spoilers
A comet crashes, the dead rise...I don't even want to go on to describe this. You know what to expect.

A tiny part of me doesn't want to hate this, only because there's a creative manner as to which the zombie apocalypse occurs. Here, it's alien parasites, but this time they are alien spores that want to meld with humans to create a new species. Also, they make your penis fall off and a birth sack replaces it.

That's creative, but the movie itself is still just another really bad Direct to DVD zombie flick, meaning you get the usual-clashing personalities, terrible attempts at humor (a mom who was a Pornstar, how funny. I'm just laughing right now) terrible acting, a generic as they come score, a zombie apocalypse apparently made up of 40 people, a lot of gore but nothing new or innovative, ham handed attempts at characterization-I could go on. Also, there's a religious fanatic character, and while I'm all for seeing religious bigots getting theirs, his character is so clichéd and such a forced attempt at social commentary and trying to come off as progressive that it even embarrassed a liberal like me. Finally, as a friend of mine said, the problem with so many of today's zombie movies is that nobody in these movies seems to have ever seen a zombie movie. I'm not asking for some kind of "Scream" type of self awareness, but come on people, act rationally in one of these for at least once.

Original twist aside, "Days of Darkness" is just another bad Direct to DVD zombie flick that's been done more than the film's ex Pornstar mother. It's a step up from shot on camcorder fair, but that's not exactly an accomplishment. You'd be better off never seeing this.

Surprisingly good Day of the Dead/Invasion of the Body Snatchers rip-off.
poolandrews8 January 2008
Warning: Spoilers
Days of Darkness starts as lovers Steve (Travis Brorsen) & Mimi (Roshelle Pattison) head back to the city after a weekend camping out in the woods, however en-route they run into several flesh eating zombies who predictably try to eat their flesh. They are saved by a man named Simon (Chris Ivan Cevic) who then takes them both to a self contained compound/bunker high in the hills where an assorted bunch of survivors are hold up trying to stay alive & fight off the ever advancing hordes of zombies. No-one has any answers except that it started shortly after a meteor passed Earth, the survivors must find a way to send the zombies to the grave before they are completely overrun...

Written & directed by Jake Kennedy this was much, much better than I was expecting, it's certainly a lot better than most low budget straight-to-DVD potboilers. The script is a entertaining cross between Night of the Comet (1984) with the whole situation arising from a passing meteorite, Day of the Dead (1985) with it's ragtag blend of survivors who are at each other's throats holed up in some military looking bunker & after some unexpected twists it changes direction again & becomes a decent Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978) rip-off as it is revealed alien parasites want to take over the Earth by taking over our bodies. The Invasion of the Body Snatchers angle is probably the weakest element of the story & Days of Darkness is at it's best when it's a Day of the Dead rip-off with various people debating how to survive the marauding gangs of flesh eating zombies outside. At only just over 80 minutes in length it moves along at a nice pace, it's never boring, starts off straight away without any sort of prolonged introduction & plenty of zombie action & the character's are much, much better than you would expect. Everyone is given equal screen time to develop, there's a nice mix of people from ordinary teens, to a preacher, to a funny porn star & an actor. Some of the dialogue is quite sharp as well, the line where the porn star says that she was happy to become pregnant, even though she had sex with over seventy men that week & at least she didn't abort! Or the man who stands up for the only gay guy in the group yet still making it clear to everyone he isn't gay himself! Days of Darkness isn't perfect though, the film runs out of steam towards the end & starts going round in circles with repetitive arguments & there are a few plot inconsistencies like why some zombies act like they have no intelligence & stumble around making odd noises while other's who have been affected act like 'normal' people. A pleasant surprise & no-one is harder on rubbishy low budget straight-to-DVD horror films than me.

Director Kennedy does alright, at least he keeps his camera steady so you can see what's happening at all times & he doesn't go for the quick 'blink & you'll miss it' cut editing. There's some good gore, from exploding heads to severed penis' to chopped off hands & cut off fingers to the expected zombie intestine eating scenes & the fact that the special make-up effects are good helps. There's some nice alien creatures on show as well although the opening CGI computer shots of the meteor in space approaching Earth are awful. I don't usually comment on other IMDb users reviews but I honestly can't believe some of the crap I've read on here about Days of Darkness. If someone doesn't like Days of Darkness fine, I'll accept that but when people confidently say it's awful & openly admit to only watching 34 minutes of it I lose all respect for their opinion. So this person can say Days of Darkness is terrible after only watching the opening 34 minutes, this same person claims the story is pointless & that it's a waste of time, well how can he know when he hasn't even seen half the film? How does he know the script doesn't improve? How does he know Days of Darkness is a bad film after seeing 34 minutes? There's another review currently on here as well which the writer claims 'the film doesn't really explain whats actually happened'. Hello? Is anyone there! The film explains it's story perfectly (with a few twists that you need a brain bigger than a pea to understand so maybe that has something to do with it) & I honestly can't see how anyone could not grasp the fairly simple story that it tells. Films are a matter of opinion but these people really should try to put forward some sort of reasonable argument as to why they don't like a film instead of making themselves look stupid by openly admitting that they don't get what to me is a pretty straight forward storyline.

Technically the film is pretty good considering, OK the CGI computer effects are terrible but the actual make-up effects are decent. Shot in Topanga in California. The acting is alright but varies, no-one is that bad but at the same time no-one is going to win any awards.

Days of Darkness is a much better sci-fi horror film than I expected, there's some nice if unspectacular plot twists (which some people can't seem to grasp), the character's are better than usual, the effects are better than usual & at only 80 odd minutes it's pretty short. I liked it, I didn't love it but I did like it.

Garbage
mrush19 December 2009
This is another low budget piece of crap zombie movie from Lionsgate.

A few people hold up in an abandoned military installation after a comet hits the Earth and causes most humans to turn into zombies. There is some talk of reproduction and some poking around in the crotches of the zombies and a bunch of other silly stuff.I guess the genital exams was an attempt to try and do something different in a zombie movie. The DVD box boasts "2 billion zombies" but we end up seeing only about 2 dozen poorly made up zombies in this puke pile of a movie.

The plot doesn't make sense .The gore is phony looking and pretty mild. One set of very small breasts are shown and that's about the most interesting thing this sorry mess of a movie had to offer.

It's to the point once you see those big metal gears turning when the Lionsgate logo starts that you might as well hit the eject button and get the DVD out cause you know it's gonna blow.

Romero Would Be Proud
icer_rose10 January 2008
I'm a huge fan of the zombie genre of films; I make it a point to see any movie that has anything to do with zombies at all. Your average zombie film is rather typical, the dead rise from the grave to eat the flesh of the remaining humans. "Days of Darkness" however, strays from the usual formula while still maintaining the key elements of the zombie film.

The movie wastes no time in bringing the zombie apocalypse into the story, unlike many zombie films where the origin of the zombies is usually the entire first half of the movie. Instead the viewer is thrust right into the action, zombies have taken over and a group of survivors have already banded together.

Much in the essence of the original Romero zombie classics (Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead) this movie places a high focus on the human reaction to the situation. It shows just how ugly and untrustworthy people can become in extreme situations, and in contrast it shows how brave and compassionate people can be in those situations as well.

The acting may not be top-notch, but I find the actors to portray their characters and situations as sincere and believable. This is all done without the aid of multi-million dollar special effects, and I'd have to say that's what pleases me the most about this film. There's really no CGI to speak of, and the zombies and so forth are all brought to life through the use of make-up and props by Almost Human.

For true zombie fans, for those who enjoy the Romero classics, or the comic book series "The Walking Dead", this movie is for you.

average zombie flick IF you can get past the deviant sexual content
necron9923 January 2008
I will keep this short and simple. I am a HUGE zombie genre fan. This movie is actually pretty average if you can get past the inappropriate sexual references and content during the first half of the movie. I and I mean I actually thought of turning the rental DVD off twice during the first hour. The one female character actually made me feel like a sicko just watching this. Please for the love of god give me the budget for this movie and I would make something a hell of a lot better. Anyways, this movie is and looks like a TV movie except it has content that would never be allowed on TV. This has to be ten lines so I will continue. Rent this if you are really curious as it will never be on TV, but this is not a gem by any means. I give this movie 4 out of 10.

Above Average Zombie Flick
Nightmare-Maker29 September 2008
I have read some really bad reviews for this movie, and I can see their point of view if they are not a horror movie fan, but as I love horror movies I actually admire the film makers attempts here.

OK, the acting is average at best but they have put a nice little twist into this one which took balls to do I think. The film involves a hand full of survivors trapped inside a government building after a meteor has turned everyone else on the outside into zombies. But how come the there was only a few survivors?...I won't ruin it for you, but I really think this deserves a go, it is well made considering the budget. It has some really good gore (one particular scene will make you wince!), and it does stand out as one of the better DTV horror films for some time.

It's how RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD 4 and 5 should have been.

Decent effort...7 out of 10.

Do Not Watch This Heap Of Garbage
cthulhubob-212 February 2008
I love the horror genre, and this pile of puke is a perfect example of why it is not taken seriously, which perpetuates the production of this type of junk.

This pile of filth is jangled, jumbled, non sequitur, has virtually no plot, appears to be almost entirely (badly) ad lib-ed, and was pristinely disappointing. If it was intended as a comedy, that may garner it a modicum of forgiveness, but it is still painfully unwatchable no matter what.

If this is exemplary of Lionsgate films' work, I will be sure to avoid their titles in the future, and I would admonish all to do so as well.

Incompetent Offal
moonmonday26 May 2010
Warning: Spoilers
I made the mistake of watching this cinematic trainwreck when fear.net streamed it as one of their free movies. I will say right now that free is too high a price to pay for seeing this abomination. From beginning to end, it demonstrates utter ineptitude in every way.

The only positives were the few decent performances by the actors whose characters were written so carelessly and given relatively small parts: Slasher, Simon, and Kylie were the only memorable ones in a remotely positive light, and all were handled so poorly as to be shockingly offensive. Simon in particular, as one of the few rather non-token, non-stereotypical gay characters, was completely botched.

Of the rest of the cast and characters, only Lin stood out much, but most glaring of all was the fact that her character was literally forgotten about by the scriptwriters. Not that the script was a tightly-composed affair; character motivations and personalities shift like a summer breeze. Characters do things that are completely inconsistent with the way they were thirty seconds earlier, or do things that no person would ever do in any such situation. These moments make the weaknesses of the script so flagrant, showing that the scriptwriter needed to have something happen and forced it to, without any logical reason or progression to the event. What few characters actually get any modicum of development are by and large completely unsympathetic, and the others are nothing but ciphers, placeholders as insulting as 'the black guy' or 'the girl'.

Worst of all are the two leads, who were not only poorly-written but also astoundingly badly-acted. Mimi inexplicably keeps taking her clothes off (yet showing nothing thanks to incongruously oddly-framed shots) and sitting in the floor whenever she gets flustered. The single actual nudity in the film is awkward and completely gratuitous, as well as hypocritical and actually nauseating, but the filmmakers clearly didn't intend it that way.

In fact, the entire film can be described as hypocritical and nauseating, and probably not what the filmmakers intended. It accomplishes nothing, says nothing, and does nothing but offend. Everything in the film happens because the script says so, not because it makes any sense or is any kind of logical progression. Nothing is coherent about it, and although there are moments where it's clear the film is trying to make some sort of statement, no such statement is ever made in any way comprehensible to the audience.

Unlike a well-written story of this genre, which would build the tension gradually until the last ten or twenty minutes of breakneck excitement ending the film, this builds no tension but functions on sheer exasperation of the audience. By the time the last twenty minutes finally arrive, they are nonchalantly paraded across the screen and leave no impression.

Films don't have to have a huge budget to be good. Quality is determined by good acting, good direction, and good scripting. This film, however, was overwhelmingly badly-acted, hamfistedly-scripted, and hideously-directed. Many films of this type are offensive to minorities that they include for no real reason despite inability to write convincingly, but this film not only manages to botch its attempt to handle minorities in a sensitive way, it also manages to offend everyone else too.

Anyone with pretty much any sensibilities to offend will be offended by this miserable excuse for a film. You have been warned. It's an hour and a half you will never be able to get back, and that is the most tragic thing of all about it.

Another spin
kosmasp28 June 2010
There are some fresh ideas here, which weren't that bad. Unfortunately the bland characters and the actors portraying them never really reach the same heights the ideas here may have deserved. I still thought it was worthwhile, it has some decent effects and although there are quite some inconsistencies and rather "illogical" behavior, you have moments where you just can't help liking the characters (especially when they have to put on a shirt with a "message" on them! (you'll know what I mean, if you watch the movie)

It's not too gory or too scary though and hints of social criticism never survive (no pun intended) the first ten minutes of the film. Still you could do worse and if you need a movie to have fun with and especially a laugh with, you can watch this with your buddies (as another reviewer also stated) ... first and foremost: Take this movie as intended ... not seriously!

Bad movie, but really funny if watched with low expectations
ziggybozbo10 May 2009
Warning: Spoilers
If you had high expectations for this movie, then I don't know how you got them, but that's too bad, because this is a BAD movie. I would have given it 2 stars, but this movie is so laughable that it's good. Obviously, it wasn't made to be funny; it was made to scare you. Well, they messed that up. Just watch the movie with a smile and be ready to make fun of all the dumb stuff. There's a lot of gross stuff, so if you're sensitive to gore and blood, then you probably shouldn't be watching a horror film anyways. The two biggest problems are the actors (the survivors) and the zombies. Well, that's everyone in the movie, so... yeah, everyone is bad in this movie. The dialogue seems like the screenwriter just handed the actors their lines and said, "Say this with emphasis." The characters never change personality. For example, Chad, the big tough guy with a shotgun is actually a wimp; but as soon you figure out that he's a wimp, he never stops being one. Additionally, there's one girl who can't stop talking about sex related things, and this weirdo who CONTINUALLY quotes things from the bible. They never change. There is no emotion for the characters; they're all just annoying and irritating. The zombies, oh, they're just dumb. This movie must have had such a low budget that sometimes, you can't distinguish a survivor from a zombie. The zombies have barely any zombie-ish characteristics, other than a blood splotch or something. During the zombie encounter scenes, the survivors get a bunch of blood on them, so then THEY look like zombies. The acting is dumb. I'm pretty sure I saw a jump cut or two when someone kills a zombie. I love this part after bible-boy opens the fence/gate, then the other guys have to fight the zombies. So this guy grabs a shovel to attack them, and what does he do with it? He just whacks them. The best way to describe it as if you were hitting a baseball starting from a bunt position. Well, I'll just let you find out the rest; I found this on Comcast On Demand, but it'll probably be off soon.

low-budget zombie excitement!
davidm-146 January 2008
a couple return from their overnight romantic mountain getaway to discover the world overrun by zombies. they are rescued and find themselves holed up on a mountaintop army base (supposedly a deserted NORAD base but it looks suspiciously like a cell phone tower) among a diverse group of predictably argumentative survivors, including a religious nut, an over the top macho farmer, a car salesman, a marine and a porn star & her daughter. suddenly, the virgin girlfriend is pregnant. what might aliens and the mysterious comet have to with all of this? and wow, what's in herbert's pants? also, see if you can spot the not-so-subtle homage to "day of the dead". for a low-budget effort, it held my interest - it has a few good moments and the acting is mostly decent.

Public access channel television quality ripoff/knockoff el cheapo zombie flick
dilbertsuperman8 January 2008
While this movie features several actors that are actually trying to act, the production quality and the crap script will joyfully scuttle any ability to enjoy this movie. I will give the script writer props for putting a new twist on the zombie infection that involves genitalia that made the whole zombie thing just a little bit grosser. It would have been cool to see a hi budget production with some more talented acting and some better special effects. Basically at this point the zombie thing has been DONE! So if you make a movie about it - it should be GROUNDBREAKING - not moving backwards- which is what this movie does- it LOWERS the bar.

PLOT: zombies want to eat your brain, rinse, repeat.

Beyond strange.
Kaileida30 June 2008
I watched this as part of my family's Zombie Movie Month, having previously watched such "gems" as Zombie Night, Automaton Transfusion, and Rise of the Dead- which, and this cannot be stated enough, is NOT a zombie movie- and we were not expecting anything special. We were wrong- dead wrong.

The first thing it has going for it is a zombie within five minutes of the opening. The characters are all complete idiots and not exactly developed or likable, but deliver their lines well enough... in fact, it may be the deliberate overacting that saves this movie from being terrible.

The bizarre twist (and poking of zombie wang) elevated this movie from run-of-the-mill to just utterly weird. Really weird. Completely, totally weird.

Zombies and Aliens oh my.......
LeeDiamond3 January 2008
Warning: Spoilers
Absolutely awful, just awful..... it starts off OK, and then gets gradually worse and worse, the lead male is the only thing worth watching it for as he's quite cute, and there are a couple of scary scenes. The dialogue is also terrible really corny. The film also doesn't really explain whats actually happened, all of the 'zombie humans' are discovered have an alien inside them thats reproducing and taking control of them but how and when did this happen..? The sexy lead discovers that alcohol kills the aliens as he's just about to perform an abortion on his girlfriend who has been impregnated by an alien, (when this happened I have no idea), as he pours alcohol in her mouth to numb the pain he's about to inflict on her, the alien drops out of her 'lady parts' and is dead. They both manage to escape, but it leaves me wondering what happens next, why are the aliens here, when did they get here and are they all over America. Also the black guy in the very tight and very gay pink t-shirt saying 'Hugs not Drugs' looks totally stupid. Avoid if possible.

Yummylicious Zombie Flick!
eplinlover-115 January 2008
I love it! Watched it so much, I know it by heart! My Tommy is Smoking Hot! Yeah Yeah, I know, Zombie Flicks have been done to death, but as long as Zombie's do their Zombie thing and need a good butt stomping, and My Boy's willing to be there when it happens, I'M GOOD! *Days* is serious but has a lot of comic relief when needed. It pulls at your heart strings & makes ya root for the Survivors. Eric Morgan Stuart is Buffed out as *DJ*. Sabrina is tough as nails as *Lin* and Tom Eplin Rocks the House as *Chad*! You know an actor is good when he can make you see what the character is thinking' and time and time again, My Tommy does just that! A Big Thumbs Up to all the actors and Jake Kennedy! As long as I like it, all is good in the world!

They don't like the alcohol in your blood.
lastliberal3 May 2009
OK, I am a sucker for any zombie movie. I have seen so many, starting with the very first, White Zombie (1932), and I'll watch any one I find.

A motley crew of survivors is holed up in a compound after a comet hits the Earth, including a bible-thumper (John Lee Ames), who makes me want to run out and join the zombies that are trying to get through the fence.

Well, Chad (Tom Eplin) is not much better - a real a**hole. You spend the entire movie hoping he becomes a victim.

Lots of blood and flying body parts as they fight the zombies. Lots of really weird stuff as they try to find out what they are dealing with. Jane (Ashley Elizabeth Pierce) and Trent come together in a way that is unimaginable. Mimi (Roshelle Pattison) gives birth to one of the creatures, as Steve (Travis Brorsen) figures it out.

Had to turn it of, the no penis thing was too messed up
Uh, these Zombie's genitals fall off. Obviously the "film makers" (and I use that term very loosely) have some bizarre sexual fetish that they wanted to indulge in - so they made this "film" instead of what most people with bizarre sexual fetishs do - make a website about it. They really should have done that, it would have been easier and probably made money. I'm sure they lost money on this (at least I hope they did).

When they took the one Zombie's pants down to investigate and dig something of out the whole where his penis used to be I turned this off. I just don't go there.

I don't know, what they want from this film ?
hmspeed2 August 2008
Days of darkness, in the first 10 minutes of film .. I felt that .. I will see a great exiting film .. but, after that I discovered that I was wrong .. absolutely wrong you can see the film .. but after it finished you will find yourself disappointed and you will ask yourself : that is the end ?!! .. and you will feel that you waste 85 minutes without any satisfying .. the film about disease which became everywhere and make people as animals .. people eat each other .. blood in everywhere .. but, there were a few people who are in a good health .. they live in a place where protect them from monsters by some wires only !! the film is not logic and the end was very bad .. so I think when you will watch it .. you will feel that you are uncomfortable ..
