Walter Richmond : Who doesn't want La Jolla?
Laura Gild : From the wrong side of the San Diego naval yard, it looks like paradise. Five miles down the road. How do you get there?
Walter Richmond : Herbert?
Laura Gild : He was nice, he was sweet. I liked him.
Walter Richmond : And his money?
Laura Gild : His money, I could have loved. Enough of it. It was a fair fight. We both got cheated a little.
