One of the best animaniacs bits ever.

This is a review for the 2 shorts "Hot, Bothered, and Bedeviled." and "Moon over Minerva." because I have lots to say about both episodes.

First off, Hot, Bothered, and Bedeviled should be required viewing in Sunday school classes. It's that good. It was also the short that really got me into Animaniacs (Including Chalkboard Bungle and Baloney & kids) Also, it was the first Animaniacs short that my mom saw, and she loved it.

In Hot, Bothered, and Bedeviled, The Warner bros. and the Warner sister, in an attempt to burrow all the way to six flags overflushing, End up burrowing into Hell (Or hades, Technically they couldn't call it Hell in the cartoon) And Satan decides to torment them, Quoting "And now prepare to suffer indescribable torment." to which Yakko replies "Another Bob Hope special?" However, Satan soon learns that he is on the business end of torment.

Second, There's the Minerva Mink Bit, Moon over Minerva. I don't know whether to say this cartoon makes me mad because it speaks a truth I know all too well, Or to say I love it because it speaks a truth I know all too well - A majority of beautiful women are as shallow as the shallow end of a kiddie pool.

Minerva Mink writes in her diary that she is lonely and wishes for her dream hunk of a man to come along and court her. Of course, Wilfred B. Wolf is the only other man in these cartoons, and he's a nerdy-looking, high-pitched unattractive wolf, as his name implies. When he tries to get Minerva to come with him, She flat out refuses because she isn't attracted to him. But what neither of them realizes is that Wilfred is a werewolf, and that night will be a full moon, and that werewolves in the world of animaniacs go from unattractive losers to muscle-packed hunks in the full moon, Which melts Minerva into a puddle of goo.

I recommend you watch this episode when it airs. for me, it's a 10/10.

Devilish Halloween

Love animation to bits. It was a big part of my life as a child, especially Disney, Looney Tunes, Hanna Barbera and Tom and Jerry (with tastes broadening further getting older with Pixar, Studio Ghibli and some of the more mature animations out there), and still love it to this day as a young adult whether it's film, television or cartoons. Actually appreciate it even more now, with more knowledge of the different animation styles, directors, studios and what work went into them.

'Animaniacs' has always been one of my favourites. From an early age, it always stood out as one of the most colourful, unique, funniest and cleverest shows, animated and otherwise, ever made. It is not to be dismissed as a show just for children. There is plenty for children to enjoy, any child who loves great animation, humour to laugh at and unique characters will be in heaven. There is more than plenty for adults too, especially the hugely clever in-jokes/poking fun that is likely to be better understood by older viewers with more familiarity for what is being referenced and poked fun at.

This is another one of my personal favourite 'Animaniacs' episodes. It is enormously entertaining and inventive with a suitable amount of eerie creepiness to give the episode a Halloween flavour.

In all the segments, the animation is very well done, with vibrant colouring, crisp beautiful backgrounds and convincing movements for the characters. The music is not only catchy it is actually memorable as well, with an instantly hummable main theme.

The scripts and humour are witty and hilarious with clever references and inside jokes throughout. Particularly in "Hot, Bothered, and Bedeviled". As are the situations no matter how silly they are the characters get into. This all springs from a great concept, some shows have a great concept but don't live up to it.

'Animaniacs' was always one of the finest examples of execution of a great concept doing that and superbly, with the story lines here being funny and endearing. The characters are immensely likable with unique personalities, with no exception. The Warners are endearing and with great comic timing and Satan is creepy and plays off against the Warners very well. Wilford and Minerva are cute.

Characters that are brilliantly voiced by the likes of Rob Paulsen, Tress MacNeille, Jess Harnell and Frank Welker.

In summary, brilliant once again. 10/10 Bethany Cox
