The story begins when a father comes to the police headquarters and tells Baretta that his son died of drug abuse. According to the father the boy he made a fatal mistake by absorbing heroine instead of cocaine, the drug he was used to. So, from this point, you see that this episode is fairly interesting because he points out the lethal danger of drug use, especially for those who make mistakes about this. This is not only a matter a salt instead sugar.
You also have in this episode, Paul Williams, the unforgettable lead of PHANTOM OF THE PARADISE, and from the beginning it may be evident to the audience that Williams is himself a cocaine dealer. So the viewer wonders if Williams may be involved with the boy's death. The victim died of "horse" using...The main problem for our hero will be to find out how the cocaine became heroine.
There is a sad ending here, not so usual for this series.
