Starbuck and Brenda are searching for his Viper in the middle of the night. The next shot of the praesidium building shows that it is day time. Later, we see Starbuck and Brenda still driving around at night.
Despite saying several times that he has no body and being told by Starbuck the Starbuck would walk "straight through" him (presumably because of his insubstantiality), John nevertheless places his hand squarely and firmly on Apollo's shoulder as they walk down the street together at the end of the episode.
When Brenda picks up Apollo she complains it is the middle of the night, yet when they return to her apartment and the doorbell rings, she tells him it's her regular dinner service, that she does not like to cook when she gets home from work.
When speaking with General Maxwell, Apollo says that he and the Galactica have come from another galaxy. Later, when Commander Adama orders the Galactica to light-speed, Colonel Tigh objects that "it has been some time since the Galactica has been pushed to" light-speed, implying that Galactica may not have achieved light-speed since leaving the twelve colonies -- in another galaxy. The nearest galaxy to our own is Andromeda, at 2.5 million light years. So Galactica must have traveled many times light-speed, perhaps for a long time, without encountering any planets in the void of space between galaxies to have traveled from another galaxy.
After blowing up the vehicles, Starbuck says, "I sure hope I don't have to pay for those machines." However, his lips say, "I sure hope I don't have to pay for those things."
