  Jaime Sommers : Usually, that means something a-a positive maybe, but an absolutely certain, "I hope so."

  Oscar Goldman : We're not gonna solve this problem today, Franklin. Machines are capable of certain tasks that humans aren't. But let's not forget. They have limitations. They are indeed, machines.

  Carl Franklin : Really? Well, I held a counterview.

  Oscar Goldman : Oh?

  Carl Franklin : Machines are capable of faster evolution than humans. Or haven't you compared a Model-T with a Grand Prix racer lately? However...

  Carl Franklin : nobody's improved on your kind since Helen of Troy.

  Jaime Sommers : Oh. Well, I still feel that there's a lot more to me than there is your glorified windup toys here. I mean, if you were to compare me to these ladies...

  [jumps over the fembots] 

  Carl Franklin : Get her!

  [crushes the gun with his hands] 

  Carl Franklin : Now so you see? I am proof that you're wrong. My father gave me a soul, Miss Sommers. His.

  [removes his face mask showing he's a robot] 

  Jaime Sommers : Oh, no. No, no. Come on, no. No.

  Carl Franklin : The doctor's human son died as a baby. When he created me, he knew he would never worry about that again. Through me, he made us both immortal. All my controls are internal as are my emotions and my desires.
