A Woman's Perspective
mitchrmp31 December 2012
Well, Nora's partner in the freight job has been murdered and she's decided to take it over. But there's someone trying to make sure that Nora doesn't get it. This sets up a lot of drama in this episode!

Not only is Nora fighting against some unknown enemy, she's also fighting Marshal Scott and Clay Culhane as they both do their best to talk her out of the job. Things get pretty hot at one point, and one of her leading men gets slapped across the face. That's not all though! Both leading men get in a fist fight! Nora makes sure they know that she is not amused by all this fighting over her!

There are a lot of tongue and cheek playing on words in this episode. Gib and Clay certainly show their true colors. And any woman's lib operator would be proud of how Nora stood up for herself!

The Freight Line
Prismark1023 June 2023
Nora Travers not only has a hotel. She also has a small stake in a freight line in Latigo. It has the concession for commercial transport on the roads.

When her partner is murdered, Nora is determined to continue with the concession and make it a success. However as a woman, she cannot attract any drivers despite offering good pay.

Clay Culhane is willing to support Nora, standing by her when she has an offer to sell to a rival. Marshal Gib Scott is not happy, someone is trying to sabotage the freight line and he thinks Nora is in danger. The Marshal and Clay even get involved in a fight.

However a trap is set to smoke out the saboteur who is close to home to Nora.

The fight between the Marshal and Clay was absurd, the saboteur was obvious. The ultimate baddie was a bit of a surprise though.
