That's the first episode of this TV show I watch. I don't know if is was aired in France in the seventies or even eighties, but I don't remember. I don't think so. Well it really looks like a pure seventies story. After an argument in a restaurant, a mobster from the organization is arrested and put under custody and then the police force learns that a contract killer from the same organization is on the loose, and certainly not for picking mushrooms. Good characterization, even clichés are not avoided, but when you decide to watch such shows, you already know what you will deal with, don't you? The pace is rather slow, I expected a little more action, and Jack Palance is quite convincing. But I hope that, for the further episodes, the topics will be more "spicy". Nothing of comedy or light atmosphere here.
