In the previous episode, the kids at Alan's school all have taken an aptitude test. Alan's told him he'd be great in science and the school has recommended he go to the prestigious Bronx School of Science. As for Benny, he's been told he'd make a great forest ranger but this makes no sense because he has never left Brooklyn. Regardless, Alan is torn because he really doesn't want to go to the science school and his mother and grandmother have just assumed he'd go there. As for dad, he runs interference for Alan and helps in the decision.
It's really hard to rate this episode since it's the second half of a story. Well worth seeing and quite enjoyable, though you do wonder if perhaps Alan's family should have at least visited the Bronx school before making a decision one way or the other!
