Benny is supposed to have a date with Becky and he's to meet her at Sid's sweet shop. But she doesn't show, and so Benny hangs with the surprisingly nice Sid and they spend the evening chatting. As for Sid, he too appears to have been stood up for a date. In addition to this plot, the Silvers go out to a comedy club and have a rare date.
This is a very slow, easy-going episode....which is not a bad thing and something that the show did very well. A nice slice of life episode which further fleshes out these characters and reveals a side to them you haven't seen in previous episodes.
