The fire truck that arrives as the car goes over the cliff is Squad 51, which was the same truck used in the Emergency! (1972) TV show that had its final episode in July 1979 four months prior. Although produced by a different production company (Jack Webb's Mark VII), the same vehicle was used in both shows.
