Unlike later episodes, the crash shown involving the trailer when it is abandoned is fairly realistic in that cars impact each other without becoming airborne and overturning after similar impacts.

The "Bushkin" moving van is a disguised version of the real life Bekins Moving Co. truck, even to the point of imitating the font used. By using a different name they didn't have to pay a license fee.
After the initial pursuit, this is one of the few times the actual actors are seen close up riding side by side with both motorcycles entirely visible. This shot was later made by use of a trailer that contained partial motorcycles only visible from the headlight area up.
