This debut episode of Cade's County guest stars Darren McGavin and Loretta Swit
as a pair of people who were hot stuff back in high school in Madrid County but
never quite lived up to their potential. Glenn Ford whom they went to school with
by contrast has now succeeded his father as sheriff.
What Ford doesn't know is that is his former rival has ratcheted up the rivalry. He's a contract killer who has to take out Ford and two other people because they were witnesses to a mob hit.
Swit is a sad late forty something woman who never caught any breaks and McGavin is one consciousless killer. Great performances.
