The plot? Simple. Crooks pose as a film crew with an antique car to steal experimental aerospace fuel, then enter the car in a nearby antique car show, in order to smuggle the radioactive canisters out of the county. Of course they do! Who wouldn't?? The Angels go undercover as car magazine writers in Keystone Cop outfits. Of course they do! Who wouldn't?? Bosley romances a rich widow. The Angels are particularly peppy and adorable. In terms of feminism, the Angels undeniably struck blows (albeit perhaps at the expense of the core issue - objectification and the rendering any of any non-pretty woman "invisible"). But there's a beautiful line in this one that underscores how deeply misogynistic was this culture they were trying to liberate. One of the suspects apologizes to Sabrina, saying "I'm not in the habit of knocking women around...especially pretty ones". So...you might make an exception for an ugly one? Yes, you're quite the gallant, sir. Mind you, this wasn't one of the baddies, this was a sympathetic character. I suppose it was too much to hope that Kate might respond, "Why doncha stick your 'pretty ones' up your a@@, jagoff?" Ah well, progress is progress.

If not for the cars and the light atmosphere this would be a dud. Killer thieves take refuge in a small California town and use an antique car show as cover. They want to smuggle their stolen fuel pods out of the country during the car rally, which is very similar to a first season episode called Hellride. It's one of those eps where whenever the Angels question someone they get gruff or curt answers, which of course immediately casts suspicion their way. I mean, why not be friendly when a beautiful woman asks you questions?

There's also a murder committed mid-episode that's so ridiculous it just leaves this viewer shaking his head. No cops, no fuss made, a guy involved in running the antique rally is murdered in broad daylight only yards away from a crowd of people and it's just business as usual minutes later. Bosley has a romantic subplot involving a lonely widow that feels tacked on merely acts as misdirection from the main bad guys, who in typical CA fashion, commit a second crime that will only bring them more attention.

Seeing how this is chock full of antique cars, naturally there is a car chase featuring those same antiques (The Angels steal theirs from one of those guys who gave gruff answers earlier in the show).

There's a recurring gag with Kris who keeps talking about how her old-time police helmet is too loose for her head. Then she makes her Stan Laurel face. Not a memorable romp but far from their worst.
