There's usually nothing funny about being caught in a stagecoach holdup but sometimes life provides a happy ending especially if you're a Swedish bride getting ready to marry.
Anna-Lisa is heading west and she's got a secret stash in her hat. It's her dowry and it's for the man she's heading west to marry, Edgar Winston also from Sweden. But bandits have other ideas after fellow passenger Tris Coffin tells them that the ripe pickings on this holdup are in her hat. He gets the scorn driver Dub Taylor and the rest of the passengers.
In the end Coffin had a reason kind of, for doing what he did. It even works out for Anna-Lisa.
