I was on board in terms of what the teacher was doing being wrong. The moment it became clear it was just trying to demonize the practice of spanking as a discipline, rather than the types of discipline the teacher was using, which were much more severe and much more physical, I was finished with this episode.
No effort seemed to be made to highlight any differences between a spanking and whipping (severe spankings which leave marks) either.
