Martin and Eddie meet up with an old friend at a diner. Even though she's working as a waitress she still dreams about acting on Broadway. Martin is inspired to start writing again. After going through several bad ideas he decides to write what he knows: His life. While his ex-wife is not impressed with Martins opinion of their life together, she agrees the story is worth telling. Martin sends his work in to play houses as a script and it gets picked up by an interpretive dance group. They put on a show so disgusting and horrid, Martin physically threatens the director then leaves before the 2nd act can commence. In the end he learns a valuable lesson about life, family, and writing.
