Quotes
-
Fallon Carrington Colby : Take Miss Bethany, now. The innocence of Marie Osmond, the eyes of Grace Kelly, the smile of Goldie Hawn - it does rather look like she was put together out of spare parts, doesn't it?
-
Fallon Carrington Colby : I guess deep down, well, let's just say I'm a romantic. And Krystle's a woman in love. She's in love with you, Matthew.
Matthew Blaisdel : And you don't want to see the path of true love covered with tumbleweeds?
Fallon Carrington Colby : Yeah, something like that.
Matthew Blaisdel : Fallon, you and I don't know each other very well, but right now I can tell you this: you're about as convincing as a rattlesnake that's been taught to purr. Now what the hell do you really want?
Fallon Carrington Colby : Okay, cards on the table. I want you to do us all a favor. Take Krystle off my father's hands and away from him. For his sake, and for hers.
Matthew Blaisdel : And yours?
Fallon Carrington Colby : And mine.
-
Fallon Carrington Colby : I married you because I made a deal with the devil. I wish to God I hadn't!
Jeff Colby : What kind of deal?
Fallon Carrington Colby : Nothing. Forget it.
Jeff Colby : [growing angry, grabs Fallon by the arms] I said, what kind of deal?
Fallon Carrington Colby : Let go of me!
Jeff Colby : [furious, grabs Fallon's hair, pulls her head back, speaks through gritted teeth] What kind of deal?
Fallon Carrington Colby : You disgust me, you really do. I married you because your uncle promised to bail out my father if I did.
-
Fallon Carrington Colby : Sounds almost like a wedding invitation.
Cecil Colby : If it were... could you find it in your heart to RSVP gracefully?
-
Fallon Carrington Colby : [holds flimsy night-slip hidden behind her back] Steven, why didn't you tell me you were seeing a lady?
Steven Carrington : Who said I was?
Fallon Carrington Colby : The evidence, my dear Watson, the evidence.
[holds it up]
Steven Carrington : Give me that.
Fallon Carrington Colby : [giggles, jumps back playfully, scampers about the room] Who is she? Is she somebody that I know?
[jumps over couch, clutching the garment]
Steven Carrington : [chasing after her] I said give me that!
Fallon Carrington Colby : Why don't you invite her over for dinner? I made enough for four.
Steven Carrington : [tries to snatch the slip from her, but Fallon quickly yanks it away] I can't. I'd like to.
Fallon Carrington Colby : Is she married?
Steven Carrington : Fallon, can we get off this, please?
Fallon Carrington Colby : Okay.
[tosses him the lingerie]
Fallon Carrington Colby : You are gonna tell Dad though, aren't you? I mean, even if you don't tell him who it is.
Steven Carrington : Dad? Why should I tell him?
Fallon Carrington Colby : Because it would make him feel better about...
[shrugs]
Fallon Carrington Colby : everything.
Steven Carrington : Yeah? Maybe he could take out an ad in the Denver Chronicle. 'My son slept with a woman. He's not a freak after all.'
Fallon Carrington Colby : Come on, Steven, give him a little credit. It would just make him...
Steven Carrington : Make him *what?* Love me?
Fallon Carrington Colby : Couldn't hurt.
Steven Carrington : Well, he *should* love me, and not because of - of who I'm seeing. He should just... He should just love me.
Fallon Carrington Colby : Do you love him?
[just then, the doorbell rings]
