The prayer Kem says in French is based on the 3rd chapter of Ecclesiastes in the Bible, piecing together fragments of verses 1, 2 and 4 (in verse 4, the order of the phrases has been inverted):
1) "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 2) A time to be born, and a time to die [...] 4) A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; [...]"
The title sequence for this episode is sped up to give the actual episode a little extra run-time.
The title is from a song made famous by Perry Como, "Make it one for ma baby an' one more for the road." Bette Midler sang the same song to Johnny Carson on his next to last Tonight Show.
