First script written for the show by actor James G. Richardson, who plays paramedic Craig Brice.
Second appearance of James G. Richardson as Craig Brice.
Bob Belliveau, who plays Craig Brice's paramedic partner, was the first paramedic certified in the Los Angeles County Fire Department's paramedic program in 1969. His paramedic certification number was "0001." Belliveau was also one of the behind the scenes paramedic advisors on the series (among others), later becoming an LACoFD Captain the same year (1978) as Mike Stoker.
Roy states that he had to work with Brice for two weeks when Johnny was out sick. He is likely referring to "Nuisance", Brice's first appearance. Johnny, the victim if a hit & run, had sustained a broken leg & a splenectomy, & was likely, therefore, out if work at least two months. In the time Brice was covering for him, he drove Roy crazy!
