After a brief and unproductive talk in the waiting room, Bradshaw says it's not going to work out and leaves. While Ray is in the doctor's office with Ally and Michael, Dr. Hammond asks about the kids eating habits and friends they play with. Ray, not being at home a whole lot, stutters to find an answer. He didn't even know what Ally's favorite movie is. Then, to top it off, it turns out that he accidentally brought Geoffrey to the doctor instead of Michael. At the end of the episode, Terry Bradshaw calls Ray and wants to meet again. Ray, realizing that he needs to spend more time at home with his family, declines Bradshaw's offer. Debra has a fever of 103 and Ray suggests that she walk it off. As that's what Frank always told him, including to put some dirt on it. After breakfast, Ally is also running a fever. Ray calls Marie for help with the kids. Ray still wants to make his meeting with Terry. Frank and Robert follow her and make it worse for Debra. Marie is angry at Frank for his friend Leo to have sold them cheap after bath robes, which she thinks is the cause of Debra's and the kid's illness. Frank defends Leo and says that they are good coats. Franks suggests that Debra should just walk it off. Marie asks Frank to leave, demanding peace and quiet for Debra, while making a ruckus herself.
But in the end, she appreciates all the help. The family has a good laugh at Ray's expense for taking Geoffrey instead of Michael. Debra gets better in 24 hours along with the kids.
