This is a typical winner for Everybody Loves Raymond. When their Thanksgiving episode comes around, there's no holding back with in-laws clashing and Raymond in the middle of it, not doing a thing to stop it. With truly hilarious comparisons between Debra and Ray's parents, this is a cleverly written episode of fun and games.
Moments to be remembered are that of Ray's hiding in the garage while Debra's parents argue over their marriage counselling arrangements, Debra's sudden outburst and the ending. There are moments in between where the writers have copied scenarios from previous episodes, which have been quite similar in the past. Debra's mother goes a little out of her character at times and it appears awkward, but nonetheless, this is a thoroughly enjoyable episode of Raymond with Marie sticking her nose in every which way.
